i wouldn't take anything you read on tv.com for granted, that was actually my
submission to the notes in order to try to clear up some of the confusion.


i wish people who give clarification could a least get it right! sunday was
never scheduled as the 14th episode it was just filmed 14th but always
scheduled as either the 17th or 18th episode.

it's good if you have hd but for us down under we appreciate the 350mb

seems to be slow downloadin today on this torrent, usually very quick. or is it
just me??

i don't say there shouldn't be a 350m version, in fact i prefer the 350mb
version too if the 700m and the 350m are posted at the same time.
i just say stop requesting it here coz it's pointless.
it's like pressing the horn when there is heavy traffic... it doesn't help

as has been mentioned before, not everyone wants the 700. the majority of people
want the 350. anyway, since when do you think that everyone with a fast
connection wants the 700? i can download it, but why would i want to? it just
wastes bandwidth and the quality of the 350 is more than good enough.

pull your head out of your arse and think about others for a change.

well done to the releasers of the 700 for getting it out so quickly. at least it
gives someone a chance to re-encode it down to a 350 and post it up. i just wish
someone took up the responsibility of releasing the 350 as the american
releasers obviously can't since it's not airing in their country yet 🙂

as for the episode numbers....wow, is it that hard to understand? when a movie
is filmed, is every scene shot in the exact same order? no, they are done at
different points and then put together into a proper sequence.

the numbering method that everyone is complaining about is the "production
order" which means it was shot in that order. the number really should never
have got out as it just confuses people. it was never, and i repeat never meant
to air any earlier. the episodes are all airing in the right order, so yes, you
may rename and renumber them.

why you would download the 700m version instead of the 350m if bandwith is not a
problem?

easy... you have to wait about 20 hours to get the 350m version...
in 20 hours you can get the 700m version, watch it, convert it to a 350m, share
it and you would still have plenty of time before the 350m version is posted.

now... you still think the 350m is faster to get? add the 20 hours delay and
think again.

those with transfer limit have another problem. all i have to say to them is
stop requesting the 350m version here... it's pointless... the groups that
release the files and eztv are not related (or at least that's what eztv says).

720p rips are better than the dvds.

yeah i hope so to then i can use my bandwidth twice as fast and get half as
much.... whhooo whoo.. sorry about that outburst but why do people feel the
need to cry about 350mb releases? you don't want them don't download them. easy.

can i try to explain that for the people in australia who are under a capped
limit each month (and for telstra customers they charge for download and
upload usage) and before you flame me some of them have no choice but to use
that company as it is our main telco, size does matter. also for them to seed
it to help out other people they are using their usage limit so a 350mb
download will turn into a 700mb usage if seeded one to one. thats why people
without limits go off because they dont think or realise that we are under a
isp provider that is worse than a dictator led country also we are chocked to
1.5mb download and only 128kb upload speeds, and thats cable internet (and no
we have no other provider to choose from if we want cable in our area)for
aussie people reading this i know optus do not charge uploads but they are not
in our area. bugger

enough of the pointless arguments - 350mb rips are not going anywhere, there is
still a very clear preference for that format and there's no way it will be
dropped any time soon.

the only reason eztv hasn't been releasing 350mb rips of sg:atlantis is that
they don't exist. no scene group has released a 350mb rip for a number of the
episodes, including this one. it will be posted if and when it exists, in the
meantime you can look for private rips (or private re-encodes of the hr) and
post any links you find on the forums.

my bad it is 17 then 14. episode 14 was always meant to be shown as episode 18
but was shot as 14 due to budget concerns.

do you really, really care that much? you're watching it on your computer for
the sake of watching it. it shouldn't matter.

and guess what. look at the back of the season 1 dvd release for atlantis. it
says: "mastered in high definition."


also, folks, the "3x14", as stated, is simply the production number. episodes in
every series ever made air out of order of their production numbers. stop
flipping out.

and someone get in touch with whoever does these things and ask them to please
do a 350mb release. i don't know why they stopped in the first place.

so... what was all that about episode 14 ? i mean what was it we thought we
missed when it was actually episode 19 and not 12 after all ? or was that 15
instead of 16. no, thats right, the 720 is better than dvd, so i want that copy.

bigger ones bein worth it, certinaly this one wasnt. others that work on tv
/d-link media player are 🙂
