i would like the 350mg files to continue. not all of us have unlimited bandwidth
to play with... i just want to see the episode. can someone please seed a 350mg
version soon...
do you really, really care that much? you're watching it on your computer for
the sake of watching it. it shouldn't matter.
and someone get in touch with whoever does these things and ask them to please
do a 350mb release. i don't know why they stopped in the first place.
i don't watch these on my computer, a modded xbox with xbmc hooked to my 50''
plasma. i love these 720p releases, they look so much better when viewed
properly. really is 700mb that big of deal, it isn't that much diskspace (a
guy with a 3tb media server) these release are much better for archival
purposes aswell, in a few years, you'll wish you had originally got the higher
quality version.
i have never posted before but in the light of the 80 or so posts, feel the
need to say something.
first of all, thank you eztv! since finding this site i have never, not once,
downloaded a fake file. before this was all too common and a far greater waste
of bandwidth than a 'working' 350mb, 700mb or 1100mb 720p release. its a
phoney argument caused by people too lazy to find out or too stupid to
understand that the release groups do all the hard work. they can put out
releases whenever and in any order they damn well please. nobody complaining
pays them for their hard work, so definately has no right to bitch about the
700mb coming out before the 350mb. just wait, "the patient man shows much good
sense, but the quick-tempered (impatient) man displays folly at its height."
sound doesnt work on this on tv, have to run it on the pc โน๏ธ so
much for the
bigger ones bein worth it, certinaly this one wasnt. others that work on tv
/d-link media player are ๐
try it with your dvd-player, tv's have a well known problem with plaing back
material that is not broadcasted via some network...
by gods, what is going on here? have stargate fans all gone mad?

and guess what. look at the back of the season 1 dvd release for
atlantis. it says: "mastered in high definition."
yeah, right, hd mastered dvd... i must have some digital remasterd 192kbit d/a
rolling stones album somewhere, i have copied it to tape, to play it back in my
car, and surely thats a great quality, being digitally remasterd.
please dont even try to complare 720p material to dvd. please!
and not everyone has to watch this stuff on some small sized pc-display. there
actually are some people who come across some nice big flatscreen hd-tv where
even dvds are looking like crap. i would vote for 1080p for all i care, but of
course i am fine with any filesize. but the bigger the better!
check back tomorow, then you will find sg-a rips in any resolution, in a few
days possibly even some 130mb rips.
and why are there no 350mb rips? well, maybe because the show was not
broadcastet in any area where our usual cappers live. so someone has to download
the show, convert it to a smaller filesize and then upload it again.
and nearly every tv-series is filmed out of order, thats absolutley natural.
i am usually a nice guy, but these comments are for the most part the biggest
crap i have ever read.
i cant play this one says there a major video sync prob and it then refuses to
play (tryed in bs, vlc, media player classic, win media 10, and bloody winamp)
note: my codex are up to date i can play anything else

vlc player played this ok for me (no need for codecs). gom player threw a
wobbly though and played it extra bright and way out of sync.
thanks for that last info. i thought everybody had limits on their bandwith.
so it is just a couple of countries and lucky me mine is one of them. i have
to pay a huge amount just for the extra bandwith which really sucks just so i
can get my favourites. also if i go over my alotment i am hit with more fees
per extra mb i download. now to the 350mb issues. yes the 700 mb is much
better quality and it plays great on my pc but it wont play on anything else.
unfortunately not all of us have hd tvs and dvd players. maybe one day but at
the moment most are happy the the smaller download and the other advantage is
that you can watch it so much sooner. i am on australian dsl and it takes 2 to
6 hours to download;. now i am not whinging just putting my view accross. at
least i am on optus those unfortunate enough to be on telstra get the raw
deal. i used to be on telstra but have tried optus dsl and while not as fast
at least i get a decent alotment of bandwith. to those who have had trouble
with codecs, i use k lite. maybe you could try it to see if it helps you.
i'm in australia too.... people from overseas don't understand how tough we have
it here... only just got adsl2+ but it is still crap... i have a limited
download/upload allowance so yes i too don't want to waste it all by getting
the larger file size... hope you guys understand where we are coming from...
oh it the episode sunday. the one that was originally marked
for episode 14 until the schedule change ๐
there - was - no - schedule - change!!
this episode was simply produced out of order for *logistics* reasons and was
never intended to have aired earlier. someone saw that on several guides this
episode was listed as 314 and when the episode listed as 315 aired after 313
they assumed an episode had been skipped. but those were *production numbers*
because many sites list the episodes in that order until the shows air in the us
- then they alter the order.
