after watching the very last episode ever of hbo's 10/10 show, the wire, funny
man decided to watch this revamped, "generation: youtube" take on one of funny
man's favorite childhood shows.
the target audience for this one must be the 6 - 14 year old male bracket....or
so funny man really hopes. granted, the car looks nice, if you are into that
sort of thing. the back-and-forth dialog between (the new) michael and (the new)
kitt seems lame and forced. funny man always viewed this as a rip-off of the
interaction between mr.spock and dr.bones mccoy, as seen on star trek. but as
much as it was and is a rip-off, at least hasslehoff and his car had chemistry,
now it's like two robots talking to one another. speaking of robots, that
reminds funny man, the acting is atrocious. script is dreadful, "action"
sequences are poorly choreographed and look too staged. basically aside from a
flashy car (looks only), this is a mess.
the thing is fans, this will most likely get picked up and made into a highly
successful series....for the 6-14 year old male audience, and in their eyes
funny man is an idiot and this is a 10/10 show. a younger funny man would
probably give the original knight rider a 10/10 in the old days, but when funny
man grows older, yet tv doesn't, problems will occur.
6-14 year old funny man fans: i give this a 10/10
1-5 and 14-126 (much love pampo) year old funny man fans: this gets a 1/10. let
sleeping dogs lie in future.

so does anyone (not the fugly) remember a movie from about the
fifties/sixties, that had a guy turn into an animated fish, and ended up
helping with the war. i saw it on tv about 30 years ago
crapshoot

can't argue much with this review. only pre-teen boys could find
anything remotely interesting about an airhead dude and his talking car.

that would be "the incredible mr. limpet" starring don knotts.

ooh i got insulted by funnyman do i get a special badge? no knight rider
wasn't as old as most of the shows fm reviews but its been on eztv a fortnight
so i stand by my comment, it's like reviewing a movie that's already been and
gone at your local multiplex, yes you might only be a week late but that still
makes it too 'old' to be of use to anyone.

funny man review: terminator: the sarah connor chronicles.
funny man was both intrigued and curious when he heard a series based around the
great terminator story was being released. the sarah connor chronicles is set in
the time frame just after terminator 2. the show makes a mockery of the great
terminator 1 & 2 films (funny man says terminator 3 sucks), by the amount of
lame aspects on display. first off, the character of sarah connor has changed a
lot in the transgression to the small screen. the terminators themselves are
very lame too. in 2008 why are the special effects inferior to those seen in
1984? this is an annoying show for terminator fans, but fear not funny man fans,
funny man has recently got word from his contact in the business to say this
trash will be axed anytime soon now.
4/10 - below average dross, and thankfully this one won't "be back!". hasta la
vista.

well as expected this arrived well after tssc finished its enire run, three
months after the show first aired, and if your right fm and there isn't
another season then remind me; what was the point of this(what i am generously
going to call a)review again?
oh and 'transgression to the small screen'? perhaps you mean translation?
transition? if you are going to criticize other peoples creative efforts could
you at least try to put your, product, into something resembling english?
