funny man review: hung.
funny man did not expect a masterpiece but discovering that hbo actually paid money for such a
steaming pile of garbage is almost hilarious. it is bereft of anything even resembling comedy and is
as charming as the main procrastinator himself. thomas jane stars as ray drecker, a bumbling coach
who burned his house down. he needs to make some cash to rebuild the rubble, so enter: tanya, pimp
extraordinaire. thinking alison hannigan without the charm, or youth, the robot known as tanya
drains the life from every scene she appears in. an endless host of annoying, horrible and pointless
characters clog up this show which doesn't seem to know what it wants. despite some relatively
positive reviews from critics upon its initial release, "hung" has aged as nicely as full fat milk
left in direct sunlight for 12 months.
2/10 - an absolute stinker!

funny man review: the following.
when funny man heard about a new series revolving around serial killers and starring james kilfoy,
he was expecting great things. in reality, the end result was a show that completely bombs after the
first episode. kilfoy's acting is not quite up to the soaring standards he set in rome, not by a
long shot. he plays a serial killer who assists the cops with their investigations. kilfoy's talents
are wasted on this character, who spends what little screen time he is given by mumbling
incoherently. the producers wanted this character to jump out of the screen at the audience, but in
reality the only thing the audience got was a poorly scripted hannibal lector rip off. kilfoy is
not the worst aspect of this disasterous endeavour. kevin bacon phones in a typically "hammed-up"
performance. funny man has seen more emotional range from a set of car keys. the rest of the
characters are instantly forgettable, and serve no purpose other than moving awkwardly in and out of
background shots. critics have slammed this trainwreck, and funny man would be shocked to see this
garbage renewed for a second season.
3/10 - watch silence of the lambs instead of this bargain bin knock off.
much love to all the funny man fans.
