it's got a dead like me-vibe going... but it's nowhere near as clever or good. actors feels misplaced (and not very good either), there's no way that the story holds up for a tv show... and it's just bad. damnit, give me some more dead like me instead. :/ |

i predict this will not go down well with the viewing figures...but i loved it...i have to say my favourite parts of the pilot were: *the names of places(alliteration and repeating of words.) *the symbolic touching (especially the wall scene...) i hope the narration doesn't do the "this is how long they lived to the minute" thing through out the series...it was good the first 3 times...but after that it got...well annoying. |

for pretty much the first half of the show i was thinking i wouldn't be bothering with the show again but by the end of it i was disappointed i have to wait for the next one

i liked this preair very much, but i don't think it has potential as a series. it would have had some potential as a move or a miniseries, but not a regular tv-show. the style of the show is very tiring in the long term. i wouldn't like to watch tree or four episode after each other. |

omg you and be both!.. i really hated that stupid nine year blah blah blah crap. i thought how they told the story was very confusing.. so let me get this straight.. if ned touches the same person twice within a minute that someone else doesn't die. if he doesn't then someone else will die? but overall it wasn't too bad.. i'm still wondering how he got this power in the first place.. |

s'okay. little... weird. btw, that dude looks like kevin kline! funny how all these new "preairs" have somebody who looks like somebody more famous (pushing daisies - kevin kline; chuck - jimmy fallon; reaper - jason biggs (well, at least he acts like him)... |

i found it wonderfully charming. the chemistry between the two main characters was nice to see. the last time i saw anna friel she had a geordie accent and she did a good job of being a yank in this one. i would like to see at least 4-5 episodes and see how the character development pans out before making a judgment but it looks very promising although i did find the narration irksome. |

i found it quirky and sweet and loved the aesthetic - the storybook aspect reminded me a little of nanny mcphee and the lemony snickett film. the writing was great, v tight and intelligent - hopefully it lasts the distance. loving the pre-airs btw - in new zealand we generally don't get anything until well after the fact so it's great to have a wee taste of what's to come. |

wow, loved this pilot! i've just been downloading preairs without actually reading them up so that i could be objective, and i've got to say this one's fantastic. i think it'd work better as a movie though. still, i was sure this was a cable series - imagine my surprise when i found out it was on abc! i hope it gets a full season - but i always get attached to one series that get canceled 5 episodes in - please don't let it be pushing daises. |

i am hoping that it will last for more than a few episodes and that it can attract a large fan base. it has become one of my favorite shows and it hasn't even aired officially yet. can't wait for the next episode! |
