they have been capping lost from canada a few hours early since s03e07
this week it aired at 8pm on ctv
both xor and caph pred a file with in seconds of each other, caph won the race.
this file is not nuked. xor is only nuked for dupe (so nothing wrong with the
actual file thats known yet).
i'm not sure which one is better (although xor has a much better rep) hopefully
caph didn't do another encode thats incompatible on a bunch of software players
like last one.

i saw the xor version, and it's perfectly fine. no bad sound (as someone
earlier said). and given that it's a "dup" of the caph release, then caph is
fine, too.
like last week's caph rip of "lost," this weeks doesn't work for
me: the video
breaks up and the audio cuts out.
caph is doing something wrong during the encoding. repairing the index doesn't
help.
strange that it plays fine for some people, but not others.
given that this is the first i've heard of this problem, it might be more
strange that you're having it. i see no difference at all in the episodes, and
i don't think many others do either. perhaps it comes down to who's using
discrete codecs and who's using ffdshow -- or something along those lines?
