i grabbed the torrent straight from the rss feed, right into
azureus. no editing
of the file, no nothing. it just downloaded it, and i watched it, and it was
cool. perhaps the rest of you have screwy internet connections. which is saying
something, because i live in australia, and the screwiest of internet
connections, are in australia!
no, the url is wrong but it still worked for me but i changed the url so it's
correct.. couldn't hurt..

*snicker*
this reply is in two parts...
firstly. no you are wrong. this episode was the one where locke stared
menacingly into the jungle and sawyer smirked out towards the ocean.. jack was
unsure if he could do something and kate's heart was torn in two directions. sun
walked around with a concerned look on her face and jin reluctantly accepted
something against his nature. hurley had some jovial yet uplifting role and
charley did absolutely nothing of interest. the dog barkingly lead the whole
team to a stockpile of something amazing which caused everyone to slow dance to
a nostalgic and melancholy tune as the fire-lit beach setting faded to black. oh
and the others rattled some trees between flashbacks.
i know it was !!!!11!
secondly, well it is true. australia does not air them for months after they are
released in the real world. same with stargate, bsg, heroes, etc.
everything is shown here months after it has aired in the uk/us/canada. oh but
it takes about 3 weeks for family guy to catch up, at the 11pm timeslot here.
go figure.

bittorrent (bittornado) isn't working. maybe overloaded, but i let it sit for
over an hour and nothing.
really don't understand why certain torrents are client specific.

i've bittorrented down this avi file to a 10.4.9 os x machine (apple), and it
doesn't play at all. the resulting avi file crashes quicktime (7.1.5) on my ppc;
it plays as solid green for a few seconds before running through the file on my
intel os x machine. it does play with vlc. this is unlike all other torrents
i've gotten for lost from eztv.
*****
i was able to augment my quicktime player with a set of open-source codecs from
here:
perian dot org
this made my player (qt 7.1.5) play this avi file (on both ppc and intel). there
is apparently a problem with the recently released qt 7.1.5.

this is first cap i've had a problem with playing in my dvd player.
it stops about 8-9 secs in after the kate speech.
it also crashes some players on my computer.
i watch all my shows on tv via my dvd player.
anyone else had this problem?
wondering if another group will be releasing their own alternative cap?

i had some problems playing it on my dvd player also, this is how i fixed it.
only takes a couple minutes on a good computer:
1 get and open nandub (if you dont have it try google)
2 open the original file
3 go to video - direct stream copy
4 go to audio - direct stream copy
5 go to audio - intervaling - set preload 0 / intervaled audio every 1 / delay 0
6 file - save as avi...
it worked for me... my dvp642 have some problems with diferent intervaling
settings, maybe it is the same for you.
