why do they close down successful shows? and why try out one's that don't have
much hope. there is no star trek running now, no stargate it's about time they
did a remake of lexx or better yet son of lexx or maybe enterprise z or deep
space 11 "no sci fi fix sob sob" i'll have to start writing my own sg1 was
one of the better ones

sad to see any show end like this after so long,, not too bad an ep to go out
on.
way better than that faggy limp last ep of enteprise, man was that lame !
i hope the atlantis franchise can still hold it's own , another good show.

that was a truly amazing episode. the ending brought tears to my eyes. it is sad
to see such a great series end, but at least it ended in the best way possible.
we also have two great movies to look forward to! i guess i will need to find
something else to fill what is now the empty void inside me where stargate sg1
used to be. perhaps the continuation of atlantis will bring some comfort!
many thanks to eztv for the great service they are doing for the internet
community!

i would like to do the math and compare the number of minutes produced between
doctor who and sg-1 to see who is the longest.
uh, doctor who easily outspans a mere 214 1 hour episodes. over 700 episodes
(some 1 hour, some 30 minutes) massively outdoes sg-1 in running time by an
order of magnitude.

very very very sad.
=(
for me, the last 10 years, thats half my life... half my life i've had stargate
sg-1. i remember my brother telling me about the series coming soon cause we
both liked the original movie. *sigh* rip.
hoepfully they will make another spin-off, atlantis just doesn't fill that spot
for me. :/

u r wrong there sg1 isnt the longest running scifi. there is a scifi show
called 'red dwarf' that has run over 20 years. although sg1 is one of the
longest running scifi
red dwarf is only 8 seasons long from what i can see... started 1988 and ended
1999.. so 10 years... or am i missing something?

you are also wrong that red dwarf is the longest running sci fi show... doctor
who is

i think the previous poster was confusing red dwarf with doctor who, besides
that red dwarf is not a sci-fi show, it's a comedy show set in space.
claudia black and ben browder were just beginning to come into their own and
now it's too late. i suppose some would say that 10 years is a good run for
any show, but why does a show have to end when it's getting on a bit, my
grannie is 91 and i'm not ready to take her to the glue factory just yet.

exellent eppisode!!!
although the first 10 mins annoyed the sh!t out of meand so did the ending,
for some reason mgm decided to end the series but leave it open with more
questions than it answered...
overall it was good and bad...:)

haven't watched the episode yet...kinda afraid of watching it actually...10years
of sg1 and now everything ends: i'll miss it
i was shocked when i first read that there won't be an additional season,
couldn't believe it
i just hope atlantis will go on for some years although in my opinion sg1 is way
better than sga
only good thing is that i'll be able to watch sg1 for at least half a year here
on german tv although the syncs are horrible
rip sg

i'm going to blow up mgm, the useless bastards.
now my favorite show is gone... i remember when i used to watch sg1 blown off my
scorn on acid, digging it like there was no tomorrow... those episodes still
make me grin with fondness and awe..
bastards...
and someone already said it, claudia and ben were just now, to me, as much sg1
as anyone.. richard dean who ?
