that is not 100% correct.

amanda is coming to atlantis but she is actually slated to appear in 14 total

it is time it ended. it has really lost it's spark for the past 2-3 seasons.
the new crew just couldn't pull it off. rip.

''the end of the longest running sci-fi show ever. rip sg-1
let the power of the people shout until they bring it back....''
um...a little british scifi show that ran for 26 years in its first run,
doctor who. in my old math lessons im sure 26 was larger than 10!
bye sg-1, cant wait for your next visit

pretty good episode. like others said it doesn't really tie anything up, but
still pretty good.
i think the show has more life left in it, but what do i know....
i'm sure we'll see plenty of guest spots on atlantis from the sg-1 members.

i know that they wanted to leave the story open so that we would buy the dvd
movies. but i still feel kind of cheated watching the show for 10 seasons and
having it end the way it did. feels as bad as the seinfeld ending, also they
really needed to do something to get richard dean anderson back for the last
episode, pay him 10 million dollars i don't care. you just can't end stargate
without him in the last episode, they got him back for 200 why not the last one?

let me clairfy.
sg-1: longest running consecutive scifi show (doctor who had many breaks in between)
or, if you like
sg-1: longest running us scifi show ever.
i would like to do the math and compare the number of minutes produced between
doctor who and sg-1 to see who is the longest.

we have only ourselves to blame . . . . . . .
if we had waited for the sci fi airing which starts 13th april 07. . . .
10 eps puts us into july or later if they skip a few weeks, then we would only
have to wait a 6-12 weeks for the movie, due on dvd in fall, not 20 or so
as it will be from now..
but hey, i couldn't wait so no sense complaining i think myself lucky to
have seen any of the last 2.5 seasons

uh, doctor who easily outspans a mere 214 1 hour episodes. over 700 episodes
(some 1 hour, some 30 minutes) massively outdoes sg-1 in running time by an
order of magnitude.
