aussies, it's clear you're gonna have to organize to find a way
around
your isp problems. if you can find other people near you who are willing
to download part of the show, you can set up a wireless link and inject
them into your swarm, bypassing telstra or whoever they are. it might
take a nice directional antenna, but who's gonna have the last laugh?
you might even go as far as hooking up with some freaks from another
country and trading dvds filled with the series. writing letters to the
editor complaining about bandwidth caps, printer refill ink, and level 2
cache can help expose the three biggest frauds perpetrated by business.
you may be in for a long battle, but you can also work it in your favor
by complaining to the isps that they harm australians by making them
compete unfairly against people from other countries who get to download
itunes videos that you have to pay twice for (once to itunes, once to isp).
acknowledge your countries unique isolation causing limited bandwidth issue,
and you will seem balanced. remind them it's not 2002 anymore, you've
moved ahead now with much faster hardware, and that you look forward to
your country joining other 1st world nations.

you've obviously never lived in australia then. believe me, it's not that simple
and would take an entire 10 book, 1000 page per book series to even scratch the
surface of the existant problems.

to the guy posting spoilers...can you not post here anymore? at all...kthbai

for aussies. try optus. dsl 1500 with 60gb downloads shaped to 64 if youexceed
that and thats hard to do. thats 20gb 12 noon to 12 midnight and then 40 gb
from midnight to noon. if you use up one or the other gb allowance it will take
from what is left and then will shape to 64. all for $70 a month. for me it is
the best deal around. ps to you great guys overseas, this is australia and we
are probably 20 years behind you. maybe one day

the hr videos are nice to watch but i think the 350mb eps are better for people
like me who don't have really fast tubes, have a small traffic limit and watch
it on their pc.

i hope i can find a recode somewhere.

for those of you seeking a quality and in sync 350mb version,
our old friend
teslaman has done another quality re encode and fixed the audio sync issue,
torrent is up at mininova. thanks teslaman, third time in a row, mybe you
should start your own scene, you seem to have a clue!

thanks alot, much appreciated. 😉 i completly missed ep 17 last week, but just
got it done. seems it had a 300ms skew as well and it unavoidably has the same
video glitch as the hr version.

dang. this episode is a bummer.

you'll have to watch it.

no wonder they changed the order.

how many times does it have to be said they never changed the order.

do you think that all the executives at mgm were sitting at a meeting one day
and one geek in the corner puts his hand up and says "hold on a minute, we
can't show episode 14 there because of what happens in that episode, we'll
have to move it forward 3 episodes" at which point the other executives nod in
acceptance and they decide move the episode.

don't be an idiot and understand that the episode was never changed and was
always scheduled to air when it did. if this is not the case then they must
have the proverbial 1000 monkeys writing the scripts.

i hope in 2007 we can get rid of those oldschool 350mb rips, and
only see hr and 720p tv-rips from now on. much better!!!

stop being so self-centered.

wow! thanx eztv and the cappers.

what a brilliant episode!! i think it must be the best of the atlantis eps to
date - intelligent storyline, composition, and cleverly executed.

as an aussie i appreciate the ability to get this calibre of show as a
download, even if it costs bandwidth. i hated having to trust our free to air
or digital suppliers to air shows.

an example of crummy free to air loyalty to a show was 'bablylon 5' - it may
have been aired but then it may not have - or shown sometimes 2-3hrs later
than advertised.

thank you thank you thank you - for keeping this little vegemite from going
crazy and having to 'do a postal' on the free to air channels! 🙂

do eztv take donations?

cheers

there are no passwords, if you've downloaded something that needs a password
it's not something that eztv released.

consider the following. everything these days is filmed in hd. just about every
content provider out there provides hd channels. blu-ray and hd-dvd are both
available, and affordable. the price of high-def lcd and plasma displays are
coming down in price pretty quickly, and are expected to drop a lot more over
the next couple of years. the world has gone hd. it's time everyone accepted
that fact.

so, keeping all of that in mind, why must the rest of the world suffer simply
because a few malcontents out there choose to use an internet service provider
that limits their bandwidth? why must that be our problem, we the people who
have accepted the fact that the entire world has gone hd and moved on? not only
have you made the conscious choice to use a bad service, many of you have
obviously chosen to hold out by not upgrading to hd, preferring instead to stick
with your old obsolete television/monitor. sure, i feel a little sorry for you
if you're one of those unlucky enough to live in one of those forsaken areas of
the world, but honestly i just don't understand why the rest of the planet has
to suffer because of decisions that you yourself have obviously made. don't like
hd? too bad, not our problem and shouldn't be! something else doesn't make sense
to me while we're at it. if you're able to download two 350mb files, like all of
you surely do, why is it so hard to download one 700mb file?

so keep on rolling with the 700mb high-res files all you uploaders! they are
hugely appreciated by a great many folks, including myself (i just bought a nice
big 1080p display and love it!). if anything, the ideal solution would be to
release both low-res and high-res versions for download, thus giving folks a
choice. since the primary complaint seems to be limited bandwidth, help those
folks by lowering the file size even more. after all, it seems quite doubtful
that they would care, particularly based on everything they have said up to this
point.
