i'm sorry but as much as i love sci-fi, bsg bores me to sleep. loved star trek
(apart from enterprise... much like bsg, an unlikeable cast).
don't you people have better things to do than whinge about the content of
doctor who and/or torchwood?
if it weren't for rtd, the show probably wouldn't have come back at all. did
you see the mess the americans made of it with the doctor who movie starring
paul mcgann as the 8th doctor?
for those that haven't seen the 2007 children in need special for doctor who,
it's pretty good. has i think the 5th doctor in it. only an 8 minute episode,
but it ties in really well between the end of the 3rd series and the christmas
special with kylie.
as some have said... if you don't like the show, don't watch it. simple as that.
i think donna will make a fine companion. better than martha who just didn't
work well at all, and the final 3 eps of series 3 when capt. jack was back
proved that... she was just in the background and never really stood out in any
of the episodes. kylie would've made a fantastic companion. real chemistry
there between her and the doctor (not seen since rose). i do hope rose comes
back. martha is much better suited to torchwood. i hope she becomes a regular
there next year.
and, speaking of torchwood. provided capt. jack's still there... they could
replace the rest of cast and i wouldn't care. maybe keep ianto. he's the least
annoying/irritating of the others.

catherine tate rubs me very hard the wrong way. she represents the worst of
british comedy. it's sad that doctor who continues its slide into mediocrity by
recruiting her as a companion.
that said, bitching is one thing, but the show would have to get a lot worse
before i stopped watching it.
i'd also like to add that the best (noncanonical) iteration of the series is
"the curse of fatal death"

a fine release ... no probs. thanks again eztv.
dr. who is a kids show enjoyed by some adults.
watched it with my 6 year old and 4 year old. both totally loved this one.
yeah, tate irritates me and she\'s not exactly eye candy but she\'s far from the
first companion in that boat.
to all the whiners ... get a life. there\'s plenty other things out there, some
even don\'t involve a display!!!

well, i think that tate has great matey chemistry with the doc and she isn't
