can i be the first to say that this episode sucked, as expected.

well, in that case, i respectfully suggest you don't illegally download it
anymore. that way, you'll be saved from watching it.

doctor who is meant to be a family show, safe for children to
watch. it makes me
feel like a kid again, and it's great.
battlestar galactica may be visually spectacular, but the storyline is crap, and
they use boring and superficial relationship dramas to make the episodes long
enough.

yes, it's supposed to be a family show. the old series was - my dad watched it
when he was in his 20/30s. but he refuses to watch this one now because its
only a kids show.

i think last year was the best season so far, but a lot of you were bitching and
whining back then too. so i'm gonna take your bitching and whining now as a sign
of another great season.
oh, and ps: martha was far cooler than rose.

can we leave all the doctor who bitching and whining to the scifi guys? =p

we all know how much, they love doing so!!!

video and audio in sync and good quality.

content wise, this would have to be one of the worst, most childish episodes to
date, i am not keen on the new companion either.

that being said at least russell t davies is not trying to push his sick and
twisted views onto everyone else.

great to have the doc back, corny as always and i would not have it any other way

well i enjoyed it as did my 10yr old son (and my 35 yr old husband lol)

and surely thats what its all about,if you like it watch it if you dont
dont-simple as!

maybe those that say they dont like it now-used to like it when they were kids
and are remembering it with rose tinted glasses really.

you can never bring back the magic and wonder of childhood, and to watch my sons
face when he watches doctor who makes the episodes for me.just remember its
aired at 6.20pm on a saturday night-so honestly what are you expecting?!

exactly, dr who has always been cheesy, since the very first movie and through
the early series, ffs cyberman wore tinfoil suits, plastic spiders and pudden
bowl moulds used to create the sarin. it seems the kiddies cant watch tv with
out seeing over the top visual effects and wont watch unless it comes out
simultaneously on their xbox or play station.
fwiw dr who is, was, still will be one of the better things on tv. torchwood
is a welcome (adult) addition to the family although if i have to see james
marsden kiss another bloke again i will be sending davies hate mail.
if ya dont like, dont watch. easy really huh!

exactly, dr. who is like a homage to scifi b-movies. when they made the new
series, they made sure the tardis still looks like it's made out of tinfoil. if
anything, the aliens looked too cgi in my opinion, i'd have prefered if they'd
used puppets but i bet that's too much work in this day and age.

anyway, it's totally silly to compare battlestar galactica and doctor who,
they're about as far apart as two scifi series can get.

indeed they are, because one is good and one is bad. one is run by wise men,
one is run by a retard who is only good at running a show if by running you mean
running it into the ground...or running it into a gay bar. one is realistic,
the other is as cheesy and unbelievable as can be...and can you believe it's the
one set on this planet mostly that is the unbelievable one?

i'll be happy when russell t davies leaves the show. moffatt (or w/e the other
guy is called) has talent. blink in season 3 was amazing. moffatt will save
doctor who and make it the great series it once was. at present, dw is an
embarrassment to british science fiction. it's the flash gordon of great britain.

quality difference between the eps is big in dr. who yes, and blink is one of my
favorites as well. are you going to tell me it was great because of its
realism? i've probably seen that episode 3 times in full. what episode of
bsg have i seen 3 times? that's right, none of em. and some of them put me to
sleep. james callis is a really bad actor if you ask me; seeing a full
episode of him having his visions is not entertaining, it's a f*ing snorefest.
opinions are like, well you know, everybody has one.

yessss, i'm d/l it right now and am very excited! though i
wish it was only rose
in this season and not donna lol

but, by not being in dw, billie piper can instead do season 2 of secret diary of
a call girl. a series in which she appears nude. i think she should keep her
current job, don't you?

i'm curious what version of tw you are watching, where james marsden is kissing
another bloke? did cyclops from the x-men suddenly become disinterested in jean
gray and jump the fence?
i recall seeing james marsters on tw, but not james marsden... ;-)

to all the whiners out there: why are you wasting your time complaining about a
show that you don't like, yet still watch? are your lives really that mundane &
boring?
