americans seem to want to divide everyone into "straight" and "gay" categories,
but rtd seems to be of the opinion that human relations can be more... flexible.
and not in the punny way.

i wouldn't call rtd a genius, by any means, but he's got this and dw on the air,
so he gets points for that. but he only ever wrote one episode of torchwood
(the pilot), and my favorite eps of dw aren't by him. but a third season
(series) would be nice. it just can't end this way... ☹️

who cares if there's homosexual activity in this? get the family version or
just stop watching it if you're that sensitive. grow up aready and stop
spreading your homophobic behaviour already! 99% of shows are hetro
orientated. move on already! don't like don't watch it!!

personally i love the show (even with the gay behaviour in it). i just can't
stand gwen. everything about her annoys me. wanna kill someone off, kill her
off! lol

agreed. i haven't been on board with the gwen character from the start.

she's particularly grating playing the "thrust into leadership" assertive type here.

hey, drag on1574 - so hard to explain "certain" things in this world to your
kids??? glad mine can deal with reality...

well to be fair, torchwood isn't really a children friendly show. no, i'm not
talking about the same sex relationships. some of the episodes are downright
gory and have quite a bit of swearing. i probably wouldn't want my young
children (if i had any) to watch it either.

interesting. i have been unable to get a single, solitary torchwood episode
from either season to download from this site. not one. none. and this one is
no exception, so i'm off to pirate bay.

odd that i don't have issues with anything else on this site, just torchwood.

torchwood has been doing as well if not better than dr. who. it will definitely
be continuing. you're probably just confused because the brits say "series 1"
and "series 2" instead of "season 1" and "season 2". series finales for them
truly do mean season finales.

and rumor has it that dead guy who died again will be around and just as dead as
he has been the past few episodes. so, only one person really died. :d
(people who watch the show will know what that means.)

and, i'm going to have to agree about gwen. i like her character somewhat, but
they keep acting like she's really good looking, which is so bizarre. i barely
find her passable.

and i do wish the main tom cruise looking guy (john barrowman?) could act better.

the irony there is that he doesn't have to do a lot of acting in the gay
scenes... 🙂
and it has been confirmed for a while that torchwood will be back, given its
ratings you would have to cancel it over the dead body of the bbc2 controller.

i love the dirty gayness in this show. the main character is a trisexual
immortal manslut for god's sake lolol. what do you think is going to happen??

i loved season 1, but hate what davies did with season 2.

no i am not a homophobe, but ramming the message up our ass to constantly make a
statement got very, very, very old.

the writing started to make me wonder if dr who was gonna go to shit too. i was
starting to get a bit worried, especially after the xmas episode. which has
some great moments, but over all a meh.

i am hoping dr who is good again this year, but all things considered, i
wouldn't be surprised if it sucked ass too.

i'm with youhookooekoo. this show has been dying a slow death.
this could of been a great scifi series but i think it became just an outlet for
davies own sexual preferences to be displayed.
by the way one of favourite aussie movies is "the adventures of priscilla, queen
of the desert".

i see that the most recent comment is almost three years old and a lot has been going on since then.
at any rate a new round of torchwood is to begin tonight and i had wanted to review a few episodes
but find i can't download season 2 episode 13. anyone know why that is (i keep getting error
messages) or where i might be able to dl that one episode?
