i've heard this could in fact be the series finale. was listening to the sci fi
guys show this week and apparently someone on the show told them that it's
looking as though they're not getting picked up. and with the way the episode
goes, it kinda supports that. i really hope they don't can it. doctor who has
gone to hell these last 2 seasons and torchwood has really rocked. it'll be a
shame to see decent television disappear while quality-less dw continues.

they\'ll be back for a 3rd series/season. this season got pretty high ratings..
and i got this from wikipedia:

planning and pre-production stages, all but officially commissioned, pending the

marsters hinted he would be back filming for torchwood.\"

acutally in the united kingdom we don't use the word finale either. most of the
time its just called the last episode of the series or the final episode.

torchwood is ..... adult sure, but to bring typical flaming into this is
childish and mediocre.
to distill the character development into only homosexual tones is trite. sure
james marsters as jack's lover was a bit.. surprising, but c'mon.
i sure as hell hope davies isn't thinking sja will cut it as the alternative to
dr. who. and i damn pray he doesn't try to pull an eick a la bionic woman. ><
that thing was so overbudget it's surprising it stayed for 8 episodes.

yes, there will be another series of torchwood in about 8 months time.
and i can confirm there will probably be dirty gayness in it as well.
that is the price you pay for having a genius writer like davies.
let's hope they bring in a hot chick for us straight guys then everyone can
enjoy it.
