everyone prob'ly knows this, but ron moore does a podcast for each ep,

shortly before the show airs.

last ep he was talking from his old university with a class of students doing a
q & a. (they'd just finished watching a pre-aired version)
usually he's at home with wife & kittens, or in the studio office.
occasionally the podcast is with the writers doing the break for the ep.

i watch bsg a second time with the podcast on audio ... really enjoyable.

can you download more than one file off of rapidshare with the free version?

i downloaded the first file off rapidshare, extracted it, winrar asked for the
next file, i copied the extracted file to my torrent directory, canceled the
extraction (which deletes the partial file which is why i did the copy), and was
able to start the torrent with the first 1/4 already completed.

at this point the torrent is well seeded so don't use rapidshare. but for
jump-starting torrents when they've just hit the net this seems to work well.

whats new, he didn't spoil anything, he was just telling people about the bsg
podcast. i too listen to it. google for "bsg podcast" and you'll find it.
really really cool podcast to listen to as you watch (after you have watched it
already of course). edit: ooh, wait, i guess you didn't want anyone knowing
about the super secret ronald d. moore podcast. well to be frank most people
won't like it so it's no biggie. us diehard fans will listen regardless!

regarding rapidshare: reset your cable/dsl modem and get a new ip, clean your
cookies, and you will be able to download again. i got it from rapidshare in 20
minutes doing it that way (bittorrent usually is 3 hours). that's why i was so
shocked when josh posted the link so fast. i'm seeding it now, though, bsg is
one of those shows i seed for awhile. got to share the love.

and brainfried, there's a "keep broken file" option in the advanced settings
when you extract a file, keeps you from having to do a fairly lengthy copy
(okay, 100 megs on todays hard drive doesn't take too long, but yeah).

@jc... i know it was not a attack on him im not that cylon vindictive 🙂 i
meant it in a good way but i also listen to the bsg podcast and everthing that
has to do with bsg like the bsg scifi forum or any other forum/blogs of bsg im
in. join the spoilhunters the less spoilers the better for mankind 😛 cheers

but the problem is that most of us don't have modems. we have routers with the
same ip all the time.

i think one way of getting to download all the episode is downloading part 4
of the rapidshare files and the megashare file. i haven't tried it yet, but i
think that way you get to watch the whole episode.

rapidshare has a 100mb file size limit... therefore you have to split up a 350mb
file into 4 pieces.

and it's really not hard to join them... winrar does it automatically.
