producers had asked the torrent community if they could refrain from
distributing their program. unlike \'normal\' tv, there are no studios or
advertisers to support them here and cutting off their income source (episode
sales on their website) will kill them real fast... the choice is yours, if you
like it, support it. if you don\'t like it, why torrent it?

and frednurk.. why always look at the bad side of things..
think of the people here that watch now and buy the season box with all
episodes later to add to their collection.
besides people like wrecche and me don't normally buy anything at all. so why
bother trying to make us pay?
if this alternative wasn't avaiable i would simply watch it on youtube.
and if it wasn't on youtube i'd simply not watch it at all.

one other thing, since the episodes are 'fairly' inexpensive a decent amount of
people should be willing to support them and thus allowing them to make some
profit.
if that is not going to be the case.. then well they're not good business men..
not at all. and that's their problem.

i bought the first 4 at the uk price which is double the price in the us.
once i've downloaded to ep 8, i will re-visit buying them again once i've
equalised the price i paid.

based on 1 thing..

i love the show.

i will def. support the buggers making it.

but as with everything else i watch, im not wasting my time (movies included) if
its roobash..

and we all know, great stories can be turned into twaddle at a writers whim.

so, no one loses with a worthy show, imo. and if others disagree, then well,
they would be the ones buying from the start - in other words, if i choose to
not buy i will not buy. support in this case comes from those willing to pay for
sub-par shows.

so, at the end of the day, if sanctuary continues as is, i *will* buy it. im a
supporter of bloody good shows. always will be, always have been.

but i wont buy a show online if it falls over 6 episodes into the season. sorry.

the only version of ep 5 i\'ve seen is x264 instead of xvid (and has been
mis-labeled several times for both the codec and the ripper). a lil searching
and you should find a copy of the core codec for x264.

i am one of those who paid via the website for all of the eps, but i still
download it from eztv, for convenience.

these episodes are too short, too contrived and too expensive.... and they want
us to pay over the odds for them. i'll download for free thank you.

the only reason that waiting for a dvd box set is a bad idea is that according
to what i have read the production is done in a hand to mouth way. many of the
people involved like the actors and some of the digital proffesionals are
taking huge pay cuts (even though they have to still pay their 'people' like
agents or prod. houses the same amount).

if you are like me and can't afford it, try and turn someone you know onto it
or just buy an occasional episode.

oh, and for the idiots who only put this out as a high def x.264's, thanks for
leaving all of us with older hardware to transcode files all night instead of
torrenting.
