appreciate our
good friends in fqm releasing the nbc concert special. it was only one hour of
selected highlights
whereas ctv in canada aired the entire concert (6 hrs and 15 mins)

2hd has chosen to release the concert for diana in it's entirety with the
original broadcast
dolby digital 2.0 sound. each release will contain roughly one hour of the 6hr
and 15minute
concert. these are not split by one hour of airtime, rather by natural breaks
after an artist
or band has finished their mini set.

hour one contains the following performances.

sir elton john - "your song"
duran duran - "(reach up for the) sunrise", "wild boys" and "rio"
james morrison - "you give me something" and "wonderful world"
lily allen - "ldn" and "smile"
fergie - "glamorous" and "big girls don't cry"

ok firstly her name is 'diana'. this concert was for nobody but diana, the
princes weren't out to please anyone, the musicians and music she liked were
picked, because she liked them. part of the reason the concert was made was
because of the charities which diana supported or founded, and to bring
awareness back to them, and they raised a lot of money for them.

but you are right about diana being remembered with or without the concert.

i just downloaded the first hour. i won't be bothering with the second. the
concert is horribly unorganized and the sound is pathetic. and by the way, i'm
pretty sure the only fergie that was around when diana was alive, was her sister
in law
