what is there that is on bitmetv that is not on mininova?
usually all of the
fox, nbc, cbs, abc, and cw network shows are there on mini.

what makes bitmetv better than public trackers?? besides the fact that
everything downloads super fast and they always have the latest torrents.
doesn't mininova eventually catch up with all of its' tv torrents?

all very true - for current, popular stuff. for lesser known stuff, old shows
or previous seasons bitmetv can be extremely useful.

in terms of those shows and bitmetv, they usually show up faster
there, have
faster seeders, and have very high seeder/peer ratios (little to no drop off for
primetime shows). but yeah, prison break, lost etc you\'ll find them anywhere.

what i think is best though is that they have a whole lot of other shows. lots
of season packs, hr/x264, hdtv.ts, tv-dvdr, \"other\" scene tv releases (like
stuff eztv won\'t seed), old hard to find shows, and there\'s a request/fill
system. anyone can upload and share any \"treasures\" they may have within the
community.

there\'s also a lot of independent rippers (non-scene) who release their stuff
there as opposed to dealing with public trackers and leechers. also a lot of
releases from \"other\" places (usenet, uknova, aussietorrents) show up there so
it\'s just a great overall source for all tv. a one-stop type thing.

everyone talks about it being hard keeping up a ratio, but the good thing is
anyone can upload torrents and there\'s no \"wait times\" so it\'s really not that
hard to keep up a good ratio.

definitely worth hoping for an invite if you\'re a big tv fan, but again if you
just love the primetime stuff and are satisfied with your sources right now,
don\'t worry about it.

very well said !!
bitmetv has alot more to offer than what just gets posted at the torrent dumps.
it is the best private tv torrent site.

reguarding torrent-damage, is that site like other general private torrent
trackers?

with movies, tv, music, and video games released?
[#2936] Written by: darkmind [30/10/2006, 20:27]
its just tv, a lot of different flavours of tv, but just tv

dvdr's, 0day releases, archives, rare ups, all tv, just a lot of it

to give you an idea, the site tag is "all tv all the time"

acedood, why don't you ask at the private sites you are at ????
that would be the simple way of getting an invite !!

this way a member there at the same private site can view your stats.

like i posted before in this thread, no bitmetv user is just going to hand out
an invite. especially since it effects the person who gives out the invite.

i have only given out 1 invite myself to someone .... and that member has proven
to be above and beyond what was asked of him.

no matter how good that site is, won't have "legend". if it did, i would club
someone over the head for an invite.

+1 to you if you even remember that show
[#3198] Written by: darkmind [01/11/2006, 04:12]
acedood, i think what briandamag was getting at was that on those various sites people can actually see
the stats, rather than just have your word about them.

those figures are impressive, and i guess any bitmetv users over on those sites could be happy to invite
you, they'll be able to see the stats, and are more likely to know you too

if/when i get my account back i'd only really be happy to invite people who i actually know, that way i
could come back at them in person, breaking limbs and such, but then thats me

actually, i just looked and they have got legend

(z- other tv episodes) legend [complete] (irish tv drama)
[#3307] Written by: stdesy [01/11/2006, 19:21]
wrong legend, unfortunately. i was looking for the short lived
action/comedy/sci-fi/western that had like 13 episodes on upn in 1995 and
starred richard dean anderson and the guy who played q on star trek.

i guess it is for the best, because if they did, i'd have to club you in the
head for an invite. =p

thanks for looking though.
