wow 954 who is ur private tracker if its utorrent, it does not count cuz i downloaded it for a day it 24hours i uploased almost 10 gigs. however on bitcomet that was different case it was like 2gig and i was seeding lots of stuff. meaning ur private tracker help a lot, if its utorrent |

amopeo, the torrent software you use has nothing to do with your ratio. the only difference between building ratio with bitcomet and building it with utorrent would have occurred back when bitcomet was 'leaking' private torrents to public, but i think that's fixed now. |

i think you'd have to get a new account..especially if it's been a while. or just get on their irc channel and pm an op about it: irc.bitmetv.org #bitmetv |

hah, so it is, i've been trying to picture someone giving out that address in person, amused me briefly shadow2442, you're in the same position as me, was 2 months of not using it that got your account cancelled. if you were invited the first time you could try getting that person to re-invite you, but you're probably going to have to try the irc route too, unless you can find someone else to invite you, but as has been mentioned a few times here, there's pretty much no reason anyone here is going to jeopardise their accounts there to invite a random on board, unless you know the person. it is kind of a shame, i mean, from my perspective i've no clue about irc, i'm on a mac so i cant use mirc, so that's a whole new thing for me to try and figure out, finding a decent app, figuring the whole thing out etc, just have to think of it as a test of your commitment |

what is there that is on bitmetv that is not on mininova? usually all of the fox, nbc, cbs, abc, and cw network shows are there on mini. what makes bitmetv better than public trackers?? besides the fact that everything downloads super fast and they always have the latest torrents. doesn't mininova eventually catch up with all of its' tv torrents? |

in terms of those shows and bitmetv, they usually show up faster there, have faster seeders, and have very high seeder/peer ratios (little to no drop off for primetime shows). but yeah, prison break, lost etc you\'ll find them anywhere. what i think is best though is that they have a whole lot of other shows. lots of season packs, hr/x264, hdtv.ts, tv-dvdr, \"other\" scene tv releases (like stuff eztv won\'t seed), old hard to find shows, and there\'s a request/fill system. anyone can upload and share any \"treasures\" they may have within the community. there\'s also a lot of independent rippers (non-scene) who release their stuff there as opposed to dealing with public trackers and leechers. also a lot of releases from \"other\" places (usenet, uknova, aussietorrents) show up there so it\'s just a great overall source for all tv. a one-stop type thing. everyone talks about it being hard keeping up a ratio, but the good thing is anyone can upload torrents and there\'s no \"wait times\" so it\'s really not that hard to keep up a good ratio. definitely worth hoping for an invite if you\'re a big tv fan, but again if you just love the primetime stuff and are satisfied with your sources right now, don\'t worry about it. |
