they might have been more peeved about the last d/l because you could d/l it
before it even broadcast.

i bet this second one will not raise as much of a problem from their pov.

either way....i don't think this is going to lead to anyone getting their
internet service turned off.

and for those of us without cable......

scare mongering, common. it\'s true, i got a letter from my isp because of an
episode of \"rome\" i downloaded. it happens. use at your own risk.

well i doubt 'hbo' emailed you - i don't care if you have a fixed ip... your email address is not tied to your
ip -- i have a google, aol and yahoo email addresses -- which one are they going to send the letter to?

what hbo does do is send your isp a letter saying that you were downloading a file and to notify the ip
user that they have been warned and if they keep downloading hbo might file lawsuit against them.

i highly doubt your isp gave up your email address to hbo and then hbo contacted you directly -- i'm
pretty sure thats a brief of contract.

anyway -- you've been warned... hbo is tracking your ip and will send you warnings if you download their
tv programs.

did you gt that email from downloading something from eztv? i got a letter over
the summer from fake torrents on mininova, but never from here. i guess they
could track stuff from here, but i have no idea how they track them.

and who ever said what email address do they send it to, is an idiot. they send
it to your isp provided email address.

has anyone gotten a letter recently from this site?
