Tron Uprising S01E01 HDTV x264-2HD

i gotta say, i like it so far. the voicework, animation and plot kept me watching without distraction. i like
the mix of animation styles, though the 'thinness' of the the characters seems a bit weird to me. it's
actually got some darker tones, which makes me think it's more for teens than kids. i mean, people get
killed right there on screen. well, de-rezzed - but it's still a death of sorts.

i think it's good that it ignores the tron sequel, seeing as i didn't think too much of it. it keeps it
standalone. some of the support characters could do with some development, though - at the moment,
beck's friends seem to be the quiet one, the girl, and the asshole.

well, this is identical to the other one i watched. this is beck's beginning. s01e02 is up on tpb as a web
rip. that's the episode that airs tonight...the renegade part 1. i'd imagine ez will pick it up when it pres.

as for the story...they're not ignoring the events of legacy. this series is set before legacy, but well after
tron. before tron himself becomes the rinzler we know from legacy, or so it appears.

and clu's voice...i don't think it's actually bridges, but it is a damn fine sound-alike.

the animation is very reminiscent of aeon flux.

just now watched both tpb and eztv side by side their identical.

all i want to say about it is, i quite enjoyed it, and will be grabbing the rest of the eps when
they come online.

i have to agree with all those who enjoyed the pilot. crisp animation. great aesthetic.

i actually liked tron legacy for the visuals. i wasn't expecting a great story. but between the
aesthetic value, the music and olivia wilde, i was okay with the movie.

kinda good! i'll keep watching. elijah wood's voice always sounds like frodo to me, but the way this is
kind of like batman beyond + tron: legacy has my attention.

another fun episode numbering argument... the official site called "beck's beginning" a prequel to
the series and numbered this episode (renegade pt1) as episode 1 , then released episode 2 (renegade
pt2) on their website also. but this episode has been released on other sites as 1x02..... let
confusion reign!

ok, regarding the numbering, i read that the "preview" was originally intended to be just that, and was planned to be a
bunch of short webisodes, or something like that, to set up the series. however, they ultimately changed their minds and
decided to group it all together into a single ep and use it as the pilot. unless it turns out to be the same material (i've yet
to see the second ep), then i'm all for avoiding confusion by retaining the #1 label for the pilot. simple. i like simple. lol

anywho, i really don't understand all the anti-legacy hubbub. i really liked it, although i found a couple aspects of the
ending unnecessary (stopping there to avoid spoilers). 🙂

as for where this series "fits" into things, i also read that it takes place between tron and legacy. however, considering
certain events seen in legacy, this makes absolutely no sense to me, especially where tron himself is concerned (his
"state" in legacy, at least to my interpretation, was long-term, having begun way back shortly after the events of the
first film, which appears to contradict his current... situation in uprising. --correct me if i'm mistaken on that). i'll probably
have to go back and watch legacy again to check on that.

your youtube must be as close minded as you. from what i have read here and in another post of
yours, you are obviously not happy with this country that we live in. if you think that australia is such a
hole and that disney (a great institution) is fu#*ed you should leave and go bury yourself under a rock
somewhere dumb:donkey:

ps: the show is pretty good.
