who cares what file type it is? if you can't play it, change your media player. mpcstar is a good

kreaturen changing media players isn't a option for most people that want to watch on their tv since
most streamers,dvd plays with usb ps3 etc. only play .avi files not to mention that these stupid
mkv's are twice the size of the avi files.

sure, mkv is not supported out-of-the-box on most players but there surely are multiple ways to get
it going.

yes, but these "stupid large mkv files" also happen to deliver breathtaking real hd video quality.

and any ps3 will gladly stream mkv files when using the freewrae ps3 media server.
