the reason i posted again was that you seemed to be slapping each others backs in that manly way and
congratulating each other on your wit and cleverness on a forum that had fuck-all to do with you.
you hadn't seen the program, you professed no interest in watching the program and you defended a
post that was a deliberate trolling. it was not lighthearted and witty, just offensive and mean. and
i do know a subtext when i see one. yours was not a subtext - you need to have an underlying
relevant theme, and your post was not relevant. also not particularly funny or informed. the replies
were better. here is my answer -
singing pirates - not telly but gilbert and sullivan have that sewn up. glee on tour/drugs perhaps.
a drama on the moon - space 1999 a good answer - but how about cops on lunar colony? star cops!
double whammy!!
a new spy show where etc. etc. - james bond in a series, or the saint, or the persuaders (roger
moore basically)
the amish one - too small a demographic - maybe ask harrison ford to wear a skirt? sarah jessica
parker could pull off the crossdressing - not sure how amish she could look.
vigilant force - a team? the equalizer? better idea - how about someone gets hurt and the goodies
don't win sometimes, not too often, just 2/3 times in a season.
holy shit - the title makes its own joke but possible the father dowling stuff with the sound turned
down and a drunken game of guess the subtitle? the lesbian angle with nuns is too obvious for satire
- hence the porn industry. will work on that idea tonight , at home, alone, in bed. or whatever.
back on theme - thank you for that rare thing. an opinion from someone that has watched the damned
program. (for my input thought it was a bit dull, but 1st episode, exposition etc etc. will keep
watching)
