why on earth would they renew this ... its fucking horrible. it's boring ... nothing happens. bring back sgu!

could not agree more. this show is just so...unengaging. nothing much
seems to happen each week but the usual shoot-out with one of the aliens and lots of 'let's hold onto
our humanity' soap-boxing. even ricky's death failed to raise a sniffle, and i cry at practically
everything. as for noah wyle...i think i would have killed him myself by now. he's just so annoyingly
wholesome. i guess i should have girded my loins for shmaltz given spielberg's involvement. he's not
one to let the audience think for itself. shame. i was really looking forward to this show, but any more
of that hand-holding praise-the-lord-for-these-thy-gifts-stuff, and i'm out.

arnold back in the 80's predator "if it bleeds when can kill it" .. battle los angeles, just a few
months ago.. "if it bleeds we can kill it".. and now this show.. "if it bleeds we can kill it".. i
am now rooting for the aliens, because of humanity doesn't have much more to offer than shows that
are so basic and require so little intelligence.. well maybe we need to lose.. and the premise that
human history is to be the guide to fighting aliens.. ok.. whatever.

that was fast considering only 3 episodes have aired. i thought the show is fair, not excellent or
great. only fair. i didn't like the last episode at all. no guards watching the alien. really?

i dont disagree with your comments, 'merely stated they are both watchable. actually v was better
show from the start for me, its just went of the boil. hopefully falling skies will go the other
way. unlikely i think as i have not really cared for the characters or their outcome, plus the
aliens are bugs rather than little green men! so like u said due to lack of sci-fi or should say
sy-fy programming i will watch til something else good comes along. hopefully terra nova
just watched ep 5, its starting to become unwatchable, i just not getting into the characters and
the script is awful. not sure i will survive til the end of s1. i just finished watching sgu and
that was just starting to show some real improvements, sad that they invest in a show like that and
then they can it.

i think that the v (visitors) and the event are better than the falling skies but they were cansled!this falling

they better put some life into it- 1st season was dull til lthe last episode!
