btw, have we met the lizard lady and her female companion yet? or will it be a future
epsiode?

aaaahhh! not going to happen. this is the season finale. which is weird i always thought they would
have like 12 ep in a season

they have 13. this is the mid-season finale. doctor who seasons will be split like south park is.

from the dates shown on imdb it looks like the break is to make room for torchwood. torchwood
starts early july, and finishes on the ninth of september. coincidentally, doctor who returns on
the third of september.

no, they're new characters but the silurian is played by the same actress that played alaya
(sp?) in the two parter during s5 so she may be familiar even though it's actually a different
character. presumably the doctor has already met her some time ago (at least she called him old
friend and referred to time lord mythology that isn't common knowledge) in both his timeline and
hers. it could be covered in a novel or something.

i'm really annoyed they've done this. they've never done it before. 13 episodes is too short a season to be
chopping in half. it's just because bbc has nothing else worth watching later in the year because they're a
complete waste of the license fee. other than doctor who and torchwood, the bbc is pointless...and
torchwood is now mostly an american show anyway.

can't believe i wasted the bandwidth on the fov rip, actually i can't believe no one played the fov rip before it was
seeded, one second in and you realize the audio is absurdly out of sync, fov rips have been bad enough lately, move over
and let better groups do it if your that slack...

hanging out to watch this tonight, it hits the sites like 5am my time, don't get time to watch till the evening, mid season
break is new, though what i liked less this season was the extra short episodes, lame from the bbc...

interesting theories.. i also think that it is the doctor that river is in jail for killing.. i am
more inclined to think that the doctor killed on the beach was a reformed ganger.. i am also more
inclined to believe that the person in the space suit that kills the doctor/ganger is either the
real doctor himself, river, or amy (the little melody was not in 2010).. it is possible that they
are saving the future river killing of the doctor for when matt smith leaves the show.. although i
like the doc/amy/rory combination, i have to wonder if it is going to be soon replaced with doc and
river combo (with a younger river replacement most likely)
