the 426mb file is a private tracker or something...it does not work...
i will continue to wait for the regular file...these hi-res ones are a waste of time and bandwidth. watch the
stats. this file will get less than 5% of all the episode downloads. it repeats ever week, but there are still
these idiots who insist on the larger file with no real benefit to most.
i've seen this episode and yes there is something that breaks continuity with
other episodes, so the order of it is important. i won't say more than that for
fear of spoilering too much.
and the 426mb file worked ok, it just has a bad hiss on the audio, the audio is
out of sync and the video quality although 720x370 at times looks pretty sketchy.
i hope in 2007 we can get rid of those oldschool 350mb rips, and only see hr
and
720p tv-rips from now on. much better!!!
i agree, the quality on my 19inch display is mucho appreiciated, i prefer them
if i have the download limit left to get them, 350mb eps are just as good
but... damn aussie isp's and their limits, like i said before... stargate is
worth it.
can we please get the 350mb rips please?
i don't know why people insist on the huge ones - just buy the dvds when they
come out if you're so concerned with "quality". thats what i do.
but to just satisfy the need to watch them before they air in the us, the
simple, quicker to dl, and easier to store 350mb file is superior.
end of story.

no. some of use have bandwidth caps and slower connections. 350mb rips are
great.
i have 512k 12gb limit, and i dl these big mofo's.
i do prefer the 350mb ones if they are avaliable and are done properly. maybe
whoever releases the original could encode 2? a 350mb for us on low bandwidth
and 700mb for the lucky ppl with big speeds and no limits. it isnt much to ask
is it?

i don't want to get into a debate with anyone on these forums since it tends to
turn into a "chest beating match"; but there are many people that prefer
the 350 mb rips for a multitude of reasons.
i for one don't have an hd tv(as many other users) and the
350mb rips (when done correctly) are great quality. some people have
downloading issues due to bandwidth restrictions, and getting one show of
top notch quality is less important that being able to get multiple shows.
of course if we all had huge connections (t4+) then all of this would be
a mute point, but its a law of averages; and since both formates can
survive for the time being why have an issue with people who want the same show?
