i just can't stand it. still going to class this as an epic fail.
tony's character has none of the looks, charm or charisma that the uk version had.
they mis-cast the little sister completely. does she even have a name? effy isn't common in the us.
and max as a lesbian? wtf is that about. if they had followed the original uk series they would've
gotten their lgbt plug in by season 3.
i am a fan of the uk original...and i even learned to go with the flow after season 2. though the first
and second series are my faves.
the pathetic need to explain what "skins" means at the end of the episode? ridiculous. they would've
been better off if they had changed the name to something that us viewers can actaully relate to- and
then altered the entire script. (like they did for the office).
oy vey. makes me embarrased to call myself an american! where plagiarism is considered acceptable
and they don't even try to do a good job of covering it up! *barf*
(don't get me started on the us version of "being human"...but at least syfy *sort of* tried there. sort
of. they failed, but did try a bit harder. i agree with the post from the person who said none of the
actors have any depth or personality. blah.)
this version of skins is just deplorable. and i refuse to waste anymore of my bandwidth on it.
now i know why i stopped watching mtv so many years ago!!! they suck!

thats because guys kissing guys is gross, but girls kissing girls is hot. and more importantly, she's not
just a 'lesbian female' but a lesbian cheerleader[!], which is super hawt.
for me, i knew it was going down hill when tony didn't have the proper sheets.

no i would say uk version of skins is the best however if done right the us version could of been
good too, they shouldn't have copied the uk edition it should of been in its own right for usa. now
onto the uk skins your wrong season 1 was good, season 2 was decent, season 3 and 4 were just okay
too its the season 5-6 that sucked. you take effy out the show loses 70% already its value to me
skins isn't skins unless it has effy in it minimum requirement shes what makes the show good to
watch, her acting her character appeal is awesome, in season 1 she was so cute and sexy at the same
time, i didn't care if she was young lol.
now another thing was the other characters from season 1 and 2 made skins its popularity they should
never change the characters after season 2 it wasn't as good as season 1 and 2 but it was still
decent. with decent characters for season 3 and 4 why well effy was still in it so yeah thats why it
was decent, but the other cast weren't that bad too, its the season 5 and 6 that had a crap cast and
a crap storyline and what the hell no effy? lol
