Issues with website

also good to have eztv back in any guise and thanks for all the effort you've put in to getting back
up and running.

first off all am from yemen this my 1st post from about 4 years now and want to say something
guys i'm going to have heart attack if anything happened to three places on internet "eztv-proxy.net" ,"yts.re" and one last
non relative website called "forums.mydigitallife.info"
you see, the problem in this vast thing called internet is: who can you trust?.. so thanks for what i'm sure was a lot of hard
work! and thanks to everyone so much for their time and dedication to this community. i wish you guys always the best.
after the last downtime i noticed some kind of lag in uploading some episode e.g "criminal minds s10e10 hdtv x264-lol
[eztv]" had showed up a little bit late and to by the time am writing this no one upload "the.mentalist.s07e03.hdtv.x264-
lol" even it showed up in "extratorrent.cc" 2 days before the schedule as "imdb" , same thing happening to
"person.of.interest.s04e10.hdtv.x264-lol.[eztv]" , i don't know if that is only me or others maybe facing the same issue
again i love this place so much but we need to know when everything is back like before and at least where hear or read
about "eztv" in case another downtime..
finally english is not my native language; please excuse my expression and typing errors.

what happened?

the initial connection between cloudflare's network and the origin web server timed out. as a
result, the web page can not be displayed.
what can i do?

522 means that the request was able to connect to your web server, but that the request didn't

i would suggest if you are unable to access due to password problems try re-registering!!

please note: i do not work with eztv and this is not an official eztv communication. i have, however
done the following:
built my own webserver.
built multiple websites.
have net+ and a+ certs.
have a lot of smart computer geek type friends. :d
have more time on my hands than is healthy to think about more things that probably are less healthy.

currently eztv does not have a home from which to permanently set it's website. the ip address that
is connected with eztv.ch is not connected to any physical hardware therefore will not resolve to a
site. cloudflare, however, doesn't know this and so it's still attempting to serve you the website.
eztv-proxy.net is not really the actual website and yet it also is the actual website. i will admit
that my in-depth knowledge of proxy servers is limited to the point that i should probably not use
the term "in-depth". the short version is that the proxy server has made a copy of the server pages
as generated by eztv.ch. now as to if these pages are being updated by someone hiding the actual
eztv website somewhere i don't know. what i do know is that essentially the site is kind of stuck in
a stasis with very limited functionality. some data is being updated because the pages get that data
from other places but things like user names and passwords may not be fully stored and most probably
can't be altered.
as i have not noted any specific communication from anyone in charge of eztv, the following is a
blatant dis-regard for any actual facts and creates a broad group of assumptions.

when the pirate bay servers got raided and shut down, eztv also went down. this leads me to assume
that the eztv servers (ie. the hardware) existed in the same location as the pirate bay servers and
may have even existed within the same physical hardware enclosure. what this means is that all the
really expensive components you need to have a functioning web server are now in the hands of some
really mean police type people. because these mean people are going to be examining every single
element of data on these web servers, those who run eztv may have thought it wise to simply keep
silent and hold off trying to get the main site back until they can be sure more mean people aren't
going to try and hunt them down. these people also do this partially for fun and don't get paid. i
refer you back to the term "expensive" and the term "web servers". food, clothing, roof over your
head, gas in the car, significant other happy.. all come before new web server. i now point you to
the bitcoin link at the top of the page. please refer all your rich friends to this link and advise
them to give money. :d

to conclude:
the proxy site isn't likely to change and many elements of it can't be changed. show updates etc..
may be slow in coming or severely delayed. the main site may not return for several months so be
patient. the site is still here and i'm sure there is a shadowy figure lurking somewhere that is
feeding the proxy server every now and then. i refer you once again to the bitcoin link at the top
of the page.

i knew that would work.. all i had to do was mention the site was going to take a really long time
to return and the universe went into overdrive to prove me wrong... your welcome... *grin* in case
you hadn't paid much attention to other posts in the forums.. novaking has indicated that the site
is back and stability is shaky but improving. (slight paraphrase there) i just thought i would post
an update since i had been bored enough to post wild assumptions based on no real facts and thus it
was only fair to post something that was based on at least one fact. to the entity or entities
involved in returning eztv back to the world of the living, i thank you.

glad to see eztv.it is back! i have a minor issue, but it's not too bad. i get a certificate error and
some of the icons have a red "x". beggers, can't be choosers.
