i'm with ya on this one. adding images to the show list was a neat idea but in practice it's awful. thumbnails on the calendar page are fine because its only a couple dozen images, but the show list page has many hundreds of shows and loading all those images takes a while and while those images are loading you can't cntrl+f search the page and the show titles move around while the page is loading...if you try to click on a show title before all the images have loaded the show title moves and you click on the wrong show. i also have a fairly quick connection and a fairly quick computer...i can imagine what a pain in the ass it would be for those with a slower connection and/or a slower computer. hopefuly novaking will read this and either remove the thumbnails, or make them optional (with a cookie to remember the preference). |

i would also like this to be an option, i have fibre and the web page takes an age to load the show list thumbnails i can almost download an episode before the thumbnails are downloaded. |

@brad5786 -- your reply is ill-informed. i don't have a slow computer (as i stated above). when the issue was first reported, the show list page was using the larger file size (100-200 kb 357x300) images that the show information pages use, but displaying them as smaller thumbnails. now the show list page is using new resized images, each at a much smaller file size (7 kb 50x42) and that is why the show list page is loading much more quickly...for all of us. kudos, novaking. |

just a small heads up: one of the most popular torrent sites in china, yyets, is now redirecting all mainland visitors to a link page, with eztv being 4th on the list of recommended alternative sites. (visiting yyets from a non-mainland ip still gives you the main page.) |

hi guys just wanted to ask, is the main website down? i'm here through the proxy.net rout, it's my first time to do this in years, i keep getting a massage that the site is offline?!!!! and frankly the proxy rout is bombarding me with spam popups. thanks guys, just needed to know. |

first, i'm not an admin, just an informed user. the main site is down and there is no news as to why although it may be related to the server farm that pirate bay uses, being raided. yes, the proxy.net address does seem to have quite a bit of spam and pop-ups but i'm guessing that's the price of cheap since the eztv guys don't really get paid to do any of this. i would recommend that you use firefox and get ad-block plus plug-in for it along with making sure the pop-up blocker is turned on. (tools -> options -> content) there is a possibility that whatever measures law enforcement has taken against the pirate bay, *may* have effected eztv servers and if that's the case it could be a while before the main site returns. additional info can be found here -> https://torrentfreak.com/eztv-slowly-recovers-swedish-police-raid-141211/ |
