watched the show despite it being from the guys who committed the atrocity that is "the lionshare." while
entertaining, this work was highly derivative and all too reminiscent of primer, a film whose precedent
these amateurs will never meet.

good lord what a load of crap, and i mean that in every way possible, the story is weak and nothing
new or suprising, it looks very cheap and tacky too as it constantly drones on in one tone talking in a
way to explain the obvious to you as a viewer. (like it isnt simple enough to follow as it is without being
patronised)
the filming and music/soundtrack is baby like, like someone is using preset sound bites from a busted
up casio keyboard and filling in the blanks as it goes, the filming work is all over the place too and too
few camera angles and stability... but the huge lack of acting skills is the main issue, if you at
least had actors who can bond with the characters and put across meaningful parts none of the rest
would even matter.

hey stop with the big words, put the dick-tionary down!
cant wait to see your film on an original subject the isnt "reminiscent" of a previous story line.
what a douche you are, in my humble opinion that is...

funny, whoever did the promotions for this show forgot something. a synopsis!!!

talk all you want about how it's a "ground breaking tv series without the tv" but make sure you tell
the audience what it's about while you're at it. promote the content not the delivery method or
price (or lack thereof). i'm not going to download something just because it's free. that's like
giving someone a can of mystery meat and inviting them to chow down gratis.

just a thought.

then again, i do eat hot dogs. maybe i'll download it after all...

well, i enjoyed it and would like to see more. i really liked the concept of this show.

however, i must say. since this is low budget and independent. i would like for the writer's of the
show to lie more convincingly to me, do some research. it's about my biggest complaint.
besides one actor needs to lay off the eye shadow. your a home land security agent. not a bloody
artys wanna be actor. lol

i'm not a big scifi fan because i'm not a fan of big special effects (which in my limited experience
seem to go hand-in-hand with scifi). i feel plot should carry a story and not some dude with a fancy
computer complete with expensive cgi software.

though as a non-scifi fan i found the plot original, gripping and intriguing.

i do have a few criticisms (none of which will stop me from watching future episodes though- i
really wanna know how this unfolds!!!)

1. most importantly, i thought the dialogue was too "on the nose." i feel the writer underestimated
the audience's level of intelligence or he had no faith in the director and/or actors.

2. the camera work wasn't great. i have little-to-no cinematography knowledge but i think there
were too many really long "hand-held tracking shots." i don't know if that made sense- basically the
shots lasted for a long time and covered a lot of ground without showing any really important
details. this slowed down the tempo of the episode and distracted me from the dialogue. the last
couple of films in the bourne trilogy were so gripping because each shot lasted an average of two
seconds. it held the audience's attention!

3. i think the low budget feel was magnified by things that could easily have been avoided. an easy
example is the lack of extras. that guy sitting all alone at an empty golf course wasn't very
convincing.

luckily all of these problems have quick solutions.

1. give the actors more creative control. explain their characters (using "on-the-nose"
descriptions) then allow them to improvise dialogue (still write it all up though). it'll probably
make their performances more genuine.

2. employ the same techniques for filming dialogue as every other single camera tv show. film the
dialog twice from each side.

3. i guess this is really up to us. i'll make a donation and hope to see it make a difference in
quality.

well that's my 2c. i only watch tv and movies- never been on the other side so my comments could be
way off.
