to be fair, spooks episodes are 1 hr each, this is 44 minutes.
that's about right for adding commercials.

interestingly, fox network is experimenting this season with drastically reduced
commercial time (and charging the sponsors more). i sure hope that catches on.

why would nbc cut it? it airs on bbc saturday nights at 7 pm. it's repeated on
sunday afternoons. it's obviously being aimed at a family audience.
they've also made it 45 mins long so commercials can be added to bring it up
to an hour.

i downloaded it for my 13 year old son and he loved it, he cant wait for rest
of series, he said the quality of production was great .

ok so... i'm a 25 yr old. and i simply loved this, it was kinda awesome. 🙂

lol! was a surprise to see her in this, but no! it's not a branch of torchwood

i enjoyed it! seems it will be a good romp with some hidden nasty stuff and
clever magic. the relationship between merlin and arthur will be very
interesting. a couple of the characters need a bit of polish and seems to be a
bit of uneasy acting but thats probably because they are all new. the dragon
special effects are good but not awesome (which is what we have all come to
expect). i think those of us who get in on the ground will be hooked and make
it a must see. looking forward to the next episode.
