don't you mean 'don't know' someone? well as i said i do now, -you, unless,
by a standalone player you are refering to one of those knockoff ipods with a
2 inch screen, why would you bother to re-encode to a mp4 format. every stand
alone player i have researched/heard of/seen/used if it says .mp4 it will play
divx and xvid un-converted, that is, the ones that dont fit in your pocket

why don't you google "packed bitstream" and read some of the 86,000+ hits many
of which are discussions regarding problems with stand alone players playing
divx/xvid files with packed bitstreams. i have a philips dvp5960_37 divx
compatible player and it does not play packed bitstream videos smoothly.
unpacking them with mpeg4 modifier makes them play great. i also have a toshiba
player with the same problem. you obviously haven't done your research very well
if you never heard of this problem. also, unpacking a bitstream is not
re-encoding and it only takes a few seconds to unpack a 350 mb file.

the network previously announced that “survivor” and “the amazing race”
would return as well.

excluded from cbs’ announcement were fan favorites moonlight and how i met your
mother, as well as unlikely-to-be-a-favorite-of-anyone, the new adventures of
old christine. network officials say no decisons have been made on those shows
as of yet.

just confirmation that criminal minds has been renewed for a 4th season, there
was some speculation earlier this season it wouldnt be renewed..which is odd
given it beats the crap out of most if not all shows up it comes up against on a
wednesday night with cbs pulling in more than 14.07million viewers.

this show has gotten stronger and stronger as the season's have unfolded. and it
easily beats shit established boring as hell formulaic crap as csi, the shield
and other cop crap shows.
