i'm amazed how i post a something about the show from the first 2 or 3
episodes, and people are talking about the killer in this episode and i'm
edited for spoilers. amazing.

slightly offtopic, but moonlight has two more episodes listed on tv.com to be
aired late april/early may.
it had full 720p scene coverage so far.
new amsterdam... the show isn't that bad, it just has a slight problem --- they
aren't doing much in terms of immortality, and the "love story" part isn't
exactly adding to it. it's more like a normal crime show, i suppose (not
watching any of these, so maybe that's why i think new amsterdam is ok).
on the other hand, they could answer some questions that highlander never
answered... i can imagine quite a few ways of cutting someone in a way that does
not involve severing the head, but still makes it difficult to imagine how they
would survive it. new amsterdam pretty much raises the same questions, except
that he doesn't even have a (documented) way of getting killed, so you can do a
lot more things to him :-)
i don't want to turn any of these into a splatter show, but i do tend to think
that it never hurts to explain some technical details about an immortality that
goes beyond ordinary "no aging".
