Greetings to all. I am using uTorrent 2.2.1 (build 25110). I had found the ads in the newer
versions were not conducive to having my young ones looking over my shoulder as they were always
interested in what I was doing on the computer, not to mention it started many heated debates as to
why such ads were showing up when I claimed I was NOT searching porn on the family computer (true
story) xD. I have found it worked well and without incident right up until recently when I noticed
even though a torrent claims to have (for example) 10 seeders, upon magneting a link, I do not get
any files to download and it just hangs waiting for something to connect to. I have tried the same
link on a friend's computer using a newer version and it works just fine. Is it because I'm using
such an old version of uTorrent and it is no longer going to work now ? I use Comodo Internet
Security 10 with no problem before. Nothing is blocked from what I can see at the firewall either.
I use Windscribe VPN as well with nothing showing that it is blocking anything pertaining to this
site. I can surf the web still otherwise as I am using the same computer to write this which I am
having issues with.
Any input would be graciously received.

ok, it's working now at least when I choose to DL the torrent rather than magnet.
