Smallville shocker: Series creators quit!

its a shame that they are leaving, they have done a great job these past seven
years. maybe they are afraid the show will have a lesser 8th season because
some of the regular cast members are going to stop with the show and only make
quest appearances

well we all know what happened to stargate after season 8.

i wouldn't know, i don't care for stargate =p

charmed died in it's 8th season, hopefully the smallville writers can keep it
up for season 8.

why would he? can't think of one that he was involved with that got past 5
years. (remember they were talking about tv series)

i'm devastated. i recall earth final conflict's season 5 when most of the team
left. wow, what are we going to do for good and great (bsg) sci fi? i now hope
flash gordon (very bad sci fi) comes back. please someone think of the children!

on the plus side, smallville has in all of its season been written by so many
people, and each episode being directed by a different person, i think the
show can survive and continue to thrive despite this.

however, with lex and lana leaving the cast, it really depends now on the
writers to decide what direction to take with all of this.

i just hope they do more episodes about stride gum.
it sure is tasty.
