i think bsg season 1 was skyone way before scifi us!!!

that's right - i believe season one was a co-production with sky one. i don't
think they co-produced any further seasons (no doubt putting the money to good
use in their other 'quality' productions!). due to the fact that i have cable, i
won't be able to see it unless i download it (thanks mr branson).

bsg is a co-producrtion of sky and scifi-channel!!!

i think 50-50... but i'm not a 100% sure about that...

all season and all episodes!!!

scifi could not have pulled this huge project of on their own!

i was wrong... sky still airs reruns of bsg and
on the 31st,
not season 4 premiere...

let's face it...when it comes to scifi, the british will always be behind the
americans (yes, including stupid dr. who).

that said however, nothing beats gervais' office when it comes to comedy.

clearly you've never heard of hg wells

i would also like to add that for my money blake's 7 is still one of the top
sci fi shows of all time. when i first got in to torrents 4 or 5 years ago, i
downloaded the whole series from demonoid. it still stands up today even in a
modern world full of cgi.

i actually just saw in the fhm magazine that the season premier of bsg airs on
april 1st on skyone and skyonehd at 9pm.

http:// img37.imagevenue.com/view.php?image=31768_06_122_1176lo.jpg
just add the http, colon, and slashes before the above link.

if that is true make sure someone snags it and throws it up here for us poor us
folk.

actually it think most cgi, if not well thought into the script, makes everything look cheap... a real set
is still the way to go... but most scifi tv series don't have the budget for real sets...

like the setting on new caprica... if they'd done most of it on a stage and added cgi to it it would have
been much less impacting... sure, there was lots of cgi, but only as much as needed...

same with caprica, the woods... awesome setting with the deep green leafs and trees...

series like stargate are mostly really cheap cgi work... and the script also sucks big time

i only watch stark trek tng reruns, i just/still love them! and bsg 2003... the old school bsg was never
my thing, the movies is a different thing! but the tv series sucked big time...

i can't think of another late scifi tv series that really rocked me like bsg! not in the last 15 years...

star trek enterprise was ok, script was a little weak and obviouslly they didn;;t have the same budget
from the get go... but the cast was good, every cast member of enterprise was doing a good job... i
don't understand why the trek crowd hates enterprise so much... yeah, the opening score sucks and is
cheesy... but the opening isn't the most important thing....!

the bsg opening score is different for bsg us and eu... (mainland europe has the same opening as gb),
but both are not really kicking it or doing the series justice...

i think bsg will hae a deep impact on scifi for the next 20 years to come...

stuff like stargate will be forgotten in 10 years.... in my opinion is scifi trash... but that's just me... the
download numbers here on eztv for stargate are always very high...
