finish it up with a movie of sorts like stargate sg1 and farscape - kinda seems the norm these days- they left enough material to make this go out with a bang of a movie. |

i felt the ending was really lacking in the spirit of the show. there was no cliffhanger at the end of the show. as far as anyone's concerned everything's just fine and dandy in the jericho universe. it just seemed be missing the attitude from last season. however, these are just my opinions. |

i remember reading how cbs actually filmed two endings for the episode - one was a cliffhanger ending in case the show was renewed, and the other was a loose wrap-up in case it was not renewed. obviously they showed the latter. i suppose this was done because if it was to be cancelled (as it has), they wanted fans to be happy they got some sort of ending rather than leave it hanging with no chance of continuation. i kinda doubt they want any more nuts. |

i do have to say that the ending was quite an ending, and it left it wide open, however, it changed everything, not even the same show anymore from that point. so, i can see another network picking it up, more or less cbs laid the groundwork for what could be an amazing post-apocalyptic show. jericho was fun as a "day-to-day" look at what could happen within a small town after a catastrophe, they way self- government would work and etc. yet, we all knew that could really only go so far, life eventually becomes redundant, so the show would have to change at some point. now, while people say sci-fi, i don't know, i can't see this as a sci-fi type of show, i mean, i would think that if anything, sci-fi would have picked up journeyman... but jericho isn't sci-fi and i really don't want to see the eastern u.s attacking the western u.s with x302's, asguard technology and the good old doctor trying to stop a war wtih captain jack chasing a weavel through kansas...... haha. now, the u.s is good at picking up british shows, (life on mars, top gear). i say this is prime for the brits to pick up jericho. we always have shows/movies about us saving some british behind (28 weeks later and so forth). i say it is time to see so british butt kicking in a corrupted united states.... so send this one to the bbc. just my ideas.. so, all-in-all, i don't see how this can be classified as sci-fi at all. |

shut up. you are obviously ill informed if you think michael moore films are a valid source of information. i don't even care what your political agenda is, but either way i'm glad you cannot vote in american politics. |

i would absolutely love to see the brits\' take on this show, or even the canadians\'. i adore both the border and intelligence (rip *sigh*) and a new jericho would definitely benefit from that kind of gritty, realistic, pull-no-punches/kick-ass-now-apologize-later kind of writing. if nothing else, i agree that skiffy is not the right home for this show (more suited to the cw). i only wish that a premium channel (hbo, show) would step up and take control. they have the kind of money to rehire the cast and keep the wide-scope and settings without as big a need for enormous ratings (because of subscriptions and syndication fees). i don\'t have a premium package, but i would upgrade in a heartbeat if one of them did adopt jericho (am already looking into converting to directtv due to their support of friday night lights). |
