there should also be another episode appearing very soon as i believe next
weekend dr who starts back up... remains to be seen if the bbc have once again
let people down with their bs dates.
from what i have read, dr who is scheduled to air april 5th...but its the bbc so
who knows. tons of rumors floating around about the 4th season of the new
doctor who series...i won't give any spoilers but its gonna be epic if half the
rumors are true! anyways sorry back to torchwood...i'm hoping this ep doesn't
have the totally unwarranted in your face homosexuality like last ep. i have
nothing against homosexuality, but i don't want to see it just like i don't want
to see old people go at it. your sexual preference is your business, but keep
it out of awesome sci-fi and make about half of the viewers totally
uncomfortable. just my opinion not trying to offend anyone saying it...
awsome new torchwood!!!
as for the homosexuality of the program you have to understand that jack is bisexual (or just will shag
anything with a pulse) and even though it is a bit in your face it is who he is. now you know how
homosexuals feel having to watch heterosexuals make out on tv for decades. i say it is about time we
have a show that shows the intimacy between two guys and it not just be for a "gay" television
audience. plus it is a sci-fi show open your mind. i mean it is ok to show paracitic insects that reset
your body to it's factory settings but two guys making out freaks you out? i mean come on, it's the 21st
century and that is when everything changes. ;-)
grtttblhhftw over it, jacks a multi-sexual being.. shit the way its portrayed
even for me is acceptable.. i dig his gayness.. they make it clear and make it
obvious. whatever. it\'s gone from imposing for a cause (plehhh me rant hate fags
cry), to just well thats jack. i can live with it, if you cant, get a life. and
i.. well.. hehe.. dont go there...
but what the ufck with the episode!!!
theyre going for the \"lost\" feel here, where you just scream fuck off you
bastards at the end of it.. argh..
i don't have any problem whatsoever with jack being gay. i totally get that he
is from the 24th century (i think thats right) and will get down with aliens and
humans of both sexes. i get it, and think its makes jack a pretty cool and
interesting character. that being said i don't wanna watch 2 half naked dudes
make out. i have no problem with the fact they are doing it like i said...i
just didn't wanna see it. i get that some of the audience is gay and i respect
the fact that they might enjoy it.
i'm from the usa so that could be my problem, we are overly sexually repressed.
i don't have anything against gays, just don't wanna watch 2 dudes go at it is all.
dude i am from the usa too. of course i am gay so that helps me be a little more tolerant i guess. i
suppose you could close your eyes if you don't like watching. but i suggest not for there are reasons
russell shows these scenes. like the episode last year where jack met the real captian jack. that was
the most powefull episode cuz it made you feel the love and it didn't matter if it was from a guy and a
girl or two girls or 2 guys. or 2 guys a girl and a weevel. love is love and it is a beautiful thing. i think it
is morals like that that the show's creator is tying to bestow upon us all. and you really didn't offend
me i know everyone has there own oppinion towards that subject. just in case you didn't know alot of
the people that work on this show like writters producers and actors are gay and you have to write what
you know. after shows like "will & grace, "queer as folk", "ellen" as well as many others why shouldn't
we be represented any differently. guys kiss eachother. it happens. girls do too but for some reason
heterosexual guys don't seem to mind it so much if two girls are going at it. i've always wondered why
that is? food for thought.
it\'s kinda sad how people are offended by watching 2 guys making out, but say
they have nothing against homosexuality. sounds a bit hypocritical to me,
because if you have nothing against homosexuality i assume you see
heterosexuality (or whatever you prefer) and homosexuality as equal. so why are
you offended by 2 guys making out,but not by one girl and one guy?
no intention to offend anyone, just my opinion.
(btw: i myself have no problem with homosexuality, bisexuality or
heterosexuality and agree with my foreposter. except i\'m not from the usa ^^)
"guys kiss eachother. it happens. girls do too but for some reason
heterosexual guys don't seem to mind it so much if two girls are going at it. i've always wondered why
that is? food for thought."
you know, i suspect (only suspect) that girls don't mind seeing 2 guys going at it either... girls tend to be
quieter and not reveal things, but i have an inside source that said "it's not hard on the eyes at all."
anyways, to answer your question, the whole girl on girl thing is pleasing for guys because it is not only
double of everything they get to see, but they get to imagine the chance of partaking in the scene... the
thought of a threesome pleases everyone, regardless of gender, but not sexual orientation. lesbian scene
aren't all that hot anymore, more on the level of gay scenes since guys have finally, after all these years
realized that the have no chance of having a threesome with 2 lesbians, so upon the realization of
rejection, lesbians are no fun.
i have to slightly agree with the prior threads, the jack scenes haven't been
bad, but is is all jack on other guy encounters, with just comments regarding the females. jack does
anything with a pulse, well, lets see it all.
i'm so happy this episode is out so soon! only 1 more ☹️ but that's okay b/c dr
who's starting! wooo!
yeah, for real, people who don't want to see guys kissing shouldn't really be
watching this show lol. it's one of the most campy shows i can think of!!
the answer is well-known, ask any psychologist: a guy fighting with repressed
homosexuality or even a small case of sexual insecurity will be uncomfortable
seeing homosexuals "in action", because two people going at it is sexy
regardless of gender, and therefore, those people will be uncomfortable with the
feelings that provokes. (and they will also say i'm wrong and "no, i don't get
aroused at all", because they're trained to not even acknowledge it, so their
brain "translates" it into a feeling of "eeew" or something...)
