no hes not kidding this show rocks .. once again they kill a great show, ya
ratings sucked but hell after the fiasco that was the way they aired the first
season how did they expect any new people to jump in on season to especially
with 0 ads
this sucks
they better hold to their promise and finish the story atleast in this season as
they originally promised after the nutscape
why oh why do they keep getting rid of decent shows? we start to get used to
new characters in a show and then its gone. what ever happened to shows
running their course. makes me question whether its worth watching anything
new until its confirmed as a stayer after the second season. people may think
that this is a bit nieve but a bit of escappism is how i relax????
while super-depressed to hear its probably "official" - this is truly the trend
for shows that are truly original and brilliant.
i have to wonder if scifi might be willing to continue jericho? they picked it
up as far as syndication of the first season already - maybe they will bring it
back for season 3? they did it for stargate sg1, and look at what a huge
success that has been? upn picked up buffy after wb shut the show down, and
that also proved to be quite successful.
so - scifi? another network? anyone? (i still hold out hope for firefly!)
so in conclusion.. jericho should've probably never even been created. it's
embarrassing heh. should've stayed axed first time around let alone even
allowed to air period.
just terrific. let's keep a horribly written show like
terminator on the air
and cancel brilliant television like jericho.
you are kidding right? terminator could be improved a little admittedly, but
jericho was a badly-written show performed by really poor actors. it's
astonishing that it was give a new lease of life -- there were far, far, far
more deserving shows -- firefly, drive, wonderfalls, to name but a tiny
proportion. terminator is well shot, has innovative editing and the performances
have their occasional moments. jericho had none of that.
no good will come of jericho being given its second season. all it means is that
borderline shows that could have / should have been saved, won't be. the network
executives can cite jericho as a precedent: "well, you asked for it back, and
you didn't watch it", so no more second chances. this has long term consequences
folks.
it's great that jericho is canceled. it's just a terrible mistake that it was
ever revived.
jericho is the best show in television. i don't know how people can say it's
poorly written or poorly acted with such a fanatical fanbase that is has. i sort
of knew the cancellation was coming, it was always going to. i just never wanted
to believe it really.
such a shame. looking at the positives though, at least the ending next week
will resolve the storylines and so nothing will be left wide open like what has
happened when other great shows were cancelled (invasion).
jericho is awful. i'm all about apocalyptic dramas (last train, jeremiah, hell
- even the bbc 'docudrama' end days) so i was excited about jericho. then when
i saw it, i was pretty much "meh." it was a huge disappoint. i tried to like
it, lord knows i tried. gave it seven episodes to sink in. predictable, lazy,
ho hum... no wonder it didn't connect with enough viewers the first go around.
i find it odd that it had such a cult following... then again i suppose every
show has a cult following... hence the phrase different strokes for different folks.

oh let's travel 10 years into the future so john connor can still be a teenager,
hey and for that matter lets send tons of terminators back in time... and hey
while we are at it lets send a ton of resistance fighters from the future as well.
it only continues the further rape of a great franchise which the travesty
called t3 started.
you like reality tv don't you. lets not watch what is attempting and doing a
good job of being original forward thinking programming, and watch the 20th
seasons of big brother, survivor, and crap reality tv. you go watch that.
terminator and jericho both deserve to live but yet we're stuck with dancing
with the stars. crap.
kill the nielsens and get the cable and digital companies to start tracking
what is really being watched. in today's digital world there is no reason that
the studios and the advertisers who pay for the shows can't know what every
single tv is watching.
