has this show gotten any better since the pre-air? i found the pre-air horribly
bad, almost unwatchable. but people keep saying it\'s funny. is it worth
another
shot if i disliked the pilot that much? (note: i also found the first season of
the it crowd horrible and painful to watch, i forced myself to watch the full
first season in case it got better ... it didn\'t imo)
this isn\'t meant to insult people who like said shows, i just want to know if
this show has gotten funnier enough to warrant a retry.

preair? this is like the 9th episode heh.
and it's a little disingenuous if you say things like "this isn't meant to
insult people who like said shows." don't hold back, just say that it's a dumb
show and people who like it have no taste. at least that has some substance.
that being said, i saw the pilot and had similar thoughts at the time. my
critiques were that the acting looked forced and fake from the skinny guy. and
although the girl was hot.. it wasn't enough to keep me interested.
however, i've watched some more episodes since then (namely the 2 or 3 most
recent ones) and i've come around to the show. that is, i don't mind it now.
and the girl is.. freaking hot =p

the pre-air is the only episode of the show i have seen, i posted my question
in the latest episode thread because i figured it would have a better chance
getting a response.
i'm also not convinced that saying "it's a dumb show and people who like it
have no taste" has any substance. i try not to insult people for watching a

it's not an insult if it's fact. whether the other party takes it as an insult
is of no concern to me.

saying disingenuous is condesending, calling someone condesending is
pretentious but saying some is pretentious is condesending. we have on our
hands a conundrum of rock paper scissors proportions. (sortof)
i really have nothing to say i just wanted the last word. i know i'm an idiot
