good grief - while the first two seasons were great, season 3 has been
unfortunately dire. you think they'd know when enough is enough - or perhaps
they are trying to redeem themselves?

on the contrary, i think it's still good. first season was the best obviously
but i still very much like the show.

i agree ... but season 3 has been dire not due to the show's concept itself, but
rather due to it's reliance on tricky and (in themselves) closed story-arcs.
imo, the wga strike was the worst thing that can happen to a show like pb (or
heroes, for that matter) since these complicated story-arcs need lots of
planning and scripting to work out as a believable whole ... other shows that
mostly rely on closed episodes in itself (like house md) did not suffer that
severely from the wga strike (at least, their concept has not been undermined).
i can just hope that wga members did get some decent motivation from their
settlement to ensure that the upcoming seasons will be of much better quality.
personally, i still see much potential in prison break ...
