this show is a highlander wannabe. since it sucks i gather that it won't last
for long.

i actually liked it. i don't see it running for several seasons, but it's an
interesting enough story to last 1-2. showing it after idol was a brilliant
move, though.

yes, there are several key differences between this and the unfinished pilot... how eva and john are
introduced is different. all the scenes with the murdered girls mother are new or added. john no longer
starts drinking again, the special effects in the last 3 minutes are different, etc... it's a tighter episode
overall.


i really like it. there's a fan site with lots of videos and stuff at newamsterdam-forever.com too that i
heard about while listening to shaun o'mac radio earlier.
