is what i hear about next week's episode being the last true? i knew this was
the end but i was hoping for a longer season.

yep, only ten episodes in this, the (sadly) final season of the wire.

what!? only ten episodes? what a damn shame. i hope this episode doesn't piss me
off as much as last weeks did.

it actually pissed you off? i think you invest too much in this show, don't let
it get to you. i liked it, this is a good season, just too bad it's so short.

anyone know what the cast members are up to in the future? i'll probably imdb it
right now but it could lead to interesting discussion.

at least the last episode is supposedly 90 minutes. even at that length, they
have quite a bit to wrap up.

and fyi, the finale won't be posted tomorrow. it's not going to be broadcast
early on hbo ondemand, so we'll all definitely have to wait until next sunday.
i can't wait!

well i guess "pissed off" was too strong a term. let down/upset is more
accurate. invested too much, maybe, 5 or so years of watching this show and i've
become somewhat attached to some of the characters.

anyway, i don't think it was a bad show. pretty damn good to be honest with you,
best season yet, in my opinion.

a shame to see it end, but what a ride it's been!

thanks for the heads up, dudemandude. downloaded the episode last night and just
finished it a few minutes ago. i have to say great ending. it's a 92 minute
episode and they took good advantage of that time, everything is nicely wrapped
up. a fitting ending to the best "real life" tv drama, probably ever.
