Lost S04E03 720p HDTV x264-CTU

is it really that good?

yeah, it is really that good (speaking for the previous captures - haven't
finished getting this one, but i doubt it's any different from the previous ones).

lost is marvellously filmed in hd (the blu-ray release of season 3 is stunning)
- really loses a lot in sd quality.

just do a search for .mkv codecs. the 720p does look very good, but for anyne
who doesnt have a giant pc monitor and fast cpu it's just about useless. i still
prefer 700mb hr's to watch on my xbox.

have to agree that the quality is superb on these lost episodes in hd.

if 720p or 1080p vids run slow on your pc in wmp9-10-11 or vlc, then try
cccp. with cccp, i can now watch 720p with no issues what-so-ever.

true, but the x-360 still cant decode .mkv so i prefer the hr xvids 🙂 it looks
great on my living room lcd.

the whole episode plays fine and is 720p quality :d

however, there are various points where the frame glitches(doesnt affect vid
quality or sound)mainly between frames...you'll see what i mean.

also the main problem is the sound....i didn't notice it last week but it seems
to be back again from s04e01, its seems like the normalisation just isn't
right...now again this may just be from the broadcast as was mentioned in the
comments when it happened the previous time.
the sound fine and audible though, just the levels seem to be off, music and fx
seem to be drowning out dialogue...

but overall a brilliant release:d

if you have problems with hd, install klite-codecs. they are free, and for my
p4 2,4 works fine.

this won't download at all for me. does anyone know why that might be? it's the
only eztv torrent i've had a problem with for a very long time. it won't even
connect properly.

but i'm not a newbie, and i know what i am doing with my torrents. all my
settings are correct etc, so the thread you linked to really didn't help me at
all. i was merely wondering if there was a known problem with this torrent. it
says there are over 700 seeds here on eztv; on mininova it's listed as zero. as
i said, i do know what i'm doing, but this torrent is simply refusing all my
efforts. thanks anyway.

the trackers have seem to be down quite often resently and it smells like
there are some filler clients being used to block the downloads. you can get
upto 300 seed connection without anyone sharing anything. hopefully someone
someday would code a functionality witch would drop connections that are not
sharing anything...
