yeah note to the group leader who made me waste an hour
downloading bogus shit:
distribute higher quality drugs.
i wouldn't mind some of those drugs right bout now!
and i hope dis works, took 3 hours to dwnload on my crappy connection just to
find out i have to spend another couple of hours learnin to lip-read.
anyways, cheerio

as someone else said, there are points where it is oos. from the small portion
that i played though, it is by far the best release at this point.
it's noticeable at points, but the sync offset isn't that bad, perhaps 1/2second
at most, and syncs back up after a moment. so no, it's not a flawless release,
but as i said, it's the best one of this episode so far.
for the one who said that it's completely in sync and must be something wrong with
our machines if we're having problems.. get your eyes checked. your lip
reading isn't all that great.

after last week\'s syncing annoyances, i decided not to download any more
smallville until at least 24 hours after airtime, & that decision has been more
than vindicated by this week\'s fiasco.
this particular show seems to be especially prone to flawed uploads - i don\'t
wish to slur the entire uploading community (without whom i\'d have to wait a
couple of years for terrestrial uk tv-releases or dvd-packs), but from a
downloader\'s perspective it sometimes seems that being the first group to up a
new release is a higher priority than the standard of it\'s contents...
in the case of this specific episode, i\'m now gonna wait another day until my
confidence in the stability of the upload is restored, or possibly start
downloading the 1100mb x264 encodes instead.

the original release smallville.s0711.hdtv.xvid-dot is fine anyway. just 60secs
of fairly mild distortion when the sound is pushed too high (gun shots, etc)
during the action sequence there.

the last 4 eps of smallville have all had nuke problems.
this show is definitely jinxed.

much to fill my speed and they would all be ~20 -.-

i can confirm that this version is fine as far as sync problems are concerned,
though there are a couple of sound drop-outs (maybe where it was re-synced?).
however it suffers from a recurrent problem i have noticed with smallville caps,
that is "dynamic" sound levels. i don't know if it is the capper who has set his
encoder to normalise the levels or if it is the broadcast itself, but whenever
there is no music or speech the background sound level comes up to fill the "gap".
it could even be the receiver, many have a "dynamic level" option.

to all those who said that this release is slightly oos - i'm glad to know that
you all have eyes and ears that are all in tune with one another.
to the rest - get your vision and hearing checked.
this release (while as mentioned before is by far the best release out of all
those that came out last night) there are still a number of points throughout
the entire episode where the audio is very slightly oos.
it's minor, but noticeable to a perfectionist like myself
it happens at various points throughout the ep but i'm more than satisfied
compared to previous releases. if a better one comes out though i'll definitely
be grabbing that one

i dunno what people are complaining about. i just watched it and didn't even
notice anything worth complaining about. if it was oos it was so minor i
missed it. and believe me when tom welling is on screen - i pay attention lol.
yeah there's like a minor digital glitch but not even worth complaining about
that it was so minor. really if you're going to get another copy because you
think this one is "too bad" then you really have serious problems!

i've watched twice and told my friends to watch it. and this is is slight oos
but its hardly noticeable. and no this cant be nucked due to a slight oos. so
there wont be another release. those who notice this oos troubles i suggest u
get the dot release of course it has some audio issues but its not oos.
but i recommend this one coz is totally watchable and oos is hardly noticeable.
and for the record the cw channel has running oos in some parts.
all the scene groups out there keep up the good work and eztv u guys rock.

this is completely fucked with in 10min with a reinstall of klite. at least
10-20s off, in the beginning, unavoidable, in bs, wm, and wmc.

i find that in general i get much better results by not using any codec packs.
you are much better of using the stand alone versions of what you need.

yeah, there are sync issues througout the episode, some which are at least 1/2 a
second off. if this isn't nuked, i may have to get one of the hd releases.
