considering that this is from amc (a cable channel), i wouldn't think that it
would be censored.

great pilot! this could be a really good "dark comedy". compared to all the
other run of the mill subliminal propaganda, this show is truly a breath of
fresh air! i certainly don't think that a romanticizing of the crystal-meth
lifestyle is something that everyone out there in tv land wants to see, but
for the few that are willing to give it a chance, they'll find a show that
takes a fresh and sometimes quirky approach to depicting the ups and downs of
suburban life and the struggle for happiness.

as for the nudity and language being there, i believe the pilot was probably
originally shot for a premium network (or fx even)that is associated with amc.
they probably weren't greatly interested, but enough to give it a go and pass
it down to a subsidiary. either that or the pilot was produced and shot, then
shopped around. either way, i'm pretty sure it wasn't ever intended for basic
cable. it sure is a good thing that the amc original shows are as good as
they are, because the majority of the "american movie classics" that they run
since their format change are pop culture garbage.
