apart from the fact it's a drama & not a black comedy, it's nowhere the same apart from focusing on
women.
more like the 'footballer's wives' (which predated desperate housewives by a few years anyway)...

i thought "desparate housewives" was the us doing "footballer's wives".

it's bbc - hour long show, no adverts.

this crops up time and time again.
(see comments ad nauseam on previous releases of top gear, life on mars, hotel
babylon, hustle etc etc etc)

milfs with too much dialogue and not enough rumpy, pumpy, hide the salami!

on a british site (thebox) the episodes are 466 meg each.
british dramas usually have 4 - 1 hour episodes the first series.
tvrage has 4 episodes penned in on their site.
episode 2 aired in the uk yesterday.

the women aren't model skinny (like i prefer), but they are attractive. also,
the story (sexy drama) is decent and the acting is good. i hope episode 2 is as
good or better...
