based on douglas coupland's cult bestseller of the same name, jpod is a one-hour
drama series with amusing and evil twists. ethan jarlewski (david w. kopp) and
four coworker pals are bureaucratically marooned in the bowels of a massive
video game company, neotronic arts. (standing in for electronic arts in
vancouver, ca.
the series chronicles the amoral, lighthearted and often shocking lives of these
five "podsters." in season one alone, they routinely deal with chinese gangs,
boneheaded bosses, sexual swinging, power lesbians, british royalty, gore-laced
game designs and
awesome, i love how there was a post about these canadian shows not ever being
upped or something...and now...here they come! just keep canadian idol off of
here...cause that show stinks!

anyone suppose, that if the writer's strike goes on much longer in the us, that
the networks will just say "fuck it" and import canadian shows? seeing how, the
canadian writer's union isn't on strike?
wow, it is amazing how much more freedom there is in canadian shows. a lot of
the stuff in this episode would never make it into a usa show. if you're from
the usa and watch this, you will know what i mean. i don't want to spoil
anything by mentioned it here.
this show cracks me up. it's like "hackers" gets stuck on a deserted island in
the basement. some of the stuff is so far out there...it's like a light-hearted
six feet under.
