my dear jon, back at last....... oh, how we missed thee! i wake up in the
morning to find u available for download........ my life is partially normal
again............ woo hoo!!!!
just got done watching the episode. is it true that the daily show has tried
to strike some deal with the wga like other late night shows and the wga has
refused or something?
it's kind of insinuated in the show, that they tried to make a deal and were
ignored.
edit for admin: there seems to be something wrong with your discussion forum.
even though several messages have been posted on this episode it appears there
is none and there is a discuss button on the main page still. once you click
on it you have to post a message and can't see the other messages that have
been posted till you do. however you can go around by clicking on the forum
button at the top of the page, but thought i'd let you know about the site
problem.
my guess is that because daily show and colbert report are basically the crown
jewels of comedy central the wga doesn't want to make a separate deal in order
to keep the pressure on comedy central to make an overall settlement.
john stewart just looked like a lost puppy dog during the entire show. after
seeing this first post-strike episode, i am now convinced the writers need all
the money they are asking.
