yes, this is the last ep. the blurb at the end of ep4 stated the conclusion was
next.

makes me wonder why they're titled s0x e0x.

you didn't hear? bbc is going to be doing a special 6-part "flash gordon and
oliver do the quantum twist" arc next season!

apparently, flash gordon, who you all know was stuck in mongo during last
season's brilliantly choreographed cliffhanger finale episode, finally gets
powers that allow him to run faster than the speed of light. unable to control
his newly minted superspeed, things quickly go a little "caca". in a cosmic
blink, flash ends up travelling back in time, from being a super-cool
killa-assassin to a rancorous paedophile named mr. bumble...which could have
been fun... if he only had a pecker.

fortunately, flash has help - a jive-talkin' observer named chubby checker.
unfortunately chubby's a hologram, so all he can do is mumble in gibberish and
lend moral support.

along the way, flash teams up with oliver and set off on their many adventures
together, putting things right that once were wrong, a sort of time traveling
r2d2 & c3po, with chubby as their chewbacca. and they don't even need robotic
bodies... (oh boy!).

c'mon everybody, let's do the twist!! i can't wait for next season!!

this has been another informative post brought to you by the super terd.
- if it ain't smelly, it ain't super.

hold on, just wait a second here..

you're describing a quite familiar story, an ancient sci-fi show, we all knew
and loved, which was known by the name of "automan" and i'll have you know it
was a cheesy run of the mill sci-fi t.. wait, .. i like flash gorden, so can it,
woodly.
